I question your sincerity based on the fact that you have still got a Secretery logging your posting times, surely you have a more productive use for her now
Please try not to judge Mr Marks too harshly, Brother. He is finding it difficult to move on, as most others seem to have done.
I'm just batting the net spend nerd ball back over the net (the other net) from the spud who served it.
Only really works if you haven't spent (gross) a lot. Liverpool have been balancing the books for years but we've spent more than enough on players to have built a title challenging team. We're just **** at transfers.
Leaving aside your obviously bullshit about wages for a second, where on earth did you get that close figure from? You've spent about £200m (Net. Leave it, people!) in the last five years. We've spent £1m. That's with some rather generous figures attributed to you, too.
Those figures are from the beginning of the premier league. The 'bullshit' about wages is reality, and one that Spurs will find out, should they ever play regular champions league football.
You spend £100m more a season on wages, yet you're trying to ignore it and claim Wenger's budgeted well. Absolute nonsense. You spend silly money on average squad members, for no apparent reason. Some of your players are vastly overpaid, if reports are anywhere near accurate. Don't worry though, you'll have a nice cut soon when Sanchez ****s off.
Calm down I don't deny that Arsenal have spent big over the last few seasons, the point was that you can use selectively use figures to suit your argument. Spurs might have a small net spend over the last 5 seasons compared to Arsenal's, although some might argue that you lucked out with £85m from Real for Bale which augments that figure. But you can equally argue that since the PL inception, you've spent just a fraction less than Arsenal, whilst watching us win 3 league titles, 6 FA cups, inc 2 doubles and play Champions League football every season.
You can't claim that someone lucked out by buying a very good player. Another attempt to change the figures to suit your argument. We've spent far, far less than you, which is why you've succeeded. Wage bills are the best indicator for success and yours is nearly double that of ours, plus your spending's greater. You should be challenging for the title every year, but you're not. Arsenal being frugal's a complete myth.
