So anyway @Hoddle Is A God. Why would Leicester's owners be pulling off the 'biggest wum stunt' if they appointed Roy Hodgson, seeing as you rate him alongside Diego Simeone ?

For the love of god Roy at Leicester.

What a kick in the teeth that would be.

He would probably keep them up but nothing more.

    Useless.

Hodgson would not be a popular choice amongst the fans, that is for sure ... personally I think Shakey should be given the role until the end of the season when we can take proper stock ... he has served a very good apprenticeship under both Pearson and Ranieri, experiencing both a titantic battle for survival in the EPL and what it takes to win the EPL title over a 38 game stretch ... not many coaches around with better credentials ... indeed there are only 2 currently in the Premier League :)

    No way!..usual tabloid crap!..

My guess would be that they'll give Shakespeare a few games to see how he does - after all, he's off to a good start - whilst they dig around for a permanent replacement. Although Hiddinck is a possibility, if he's up for it.

But, Woy?? Oh puhhleeeaasse...surely nobody's that desperate!?....

  10. I think Hodgson would have more chance of keeping LCFC up than Simeone. At the very least, Hodgson has Prem experience.

Simeone, to have any chance of doing anything credible in the Prem, will need to start with a team that is already packed with good players.

Woy? Jesus, that can't happen surely.

Am seeing all kinds of bile against Leicester's owners on the net and on tv.
    It really needs to stop.
They were backed in to a corner. The club were sinking like a stone and the only way to make the players play again was to sack the manager.
Roman had to do the same thing at Chelsea last season.

It's the players who are to blame. They are the greedy, selfish, useless sacks of **** (in both cases) that got their managers sacked.

Vardy is a ****ing snake, one good season and he milks Leicester for a 100k a week contract, then back stabs the manager that helped him achieve it and throws him under the bus, then the two faced **** goes on the record saying "Oh we were 100% behind the manager blah blah" shut up you conniving little prick.

But what could the club itself do? You cant sack and replace the entire squad mid season, and even if you could it would cost a ****ing fortune.
Cheaper to get rid of the manager and appease the little ****s.

Having given half of it away to charity...<applause>

PS... I think I had a discussion with about Ranieri in the summer? I said he should have retired after winning the league, it was never going to be bettered so just go out on a high.

Was / is doesn't really cut it though. He was always going to struggle this season imo so if your owners had sacking in mind (clearly the case now), he was doomed not to finish the season from the off.

Well, like with Chelsea, I guess we will never find out exactly what happened, until CR or one of the Leicester players does an autobiography.
But if they didn't stop playing for the manager, its a little funny that the first game without him, they manage to spank a top 4 club 3-1, after not being able to score for toffee in the last 10 games.
