    Been a good start. Shame that free kick didn't go in, was beautifully worked.

    Pen is one of them that's technically a pen, but how many times do you see it in a game. Stupid defending really as run the risk

    Never a pen. 50/50 in the box, no more than that. Brighton do get a lot of pens.

    That is not a penalty. Standard jostling for position. Clark starts to lose his balance and then gets bundled to the deck

    Clark a moron. No excuses for that in front of the ref. Gave him an easy decision to make. Why? Rafa and his line up is a bit left field and I thought <laugh> but gotta give it a chance I suppose. Gouffran is in no way at a striker though. Perhaps he thought Mitro might not have temperament for big occasion?

    It's one where if it goes for you, you say it's a pen. If it goes against you you're annoyed and say it's soft/not a pen.

    Problem ref has given himself is he now has to be consistent. Will he give everything like that as a pen?

    To be fair their player wasn't watching the ball either. He was spinning around. And be even more fair, he was watching it a bit and if he had been watching it entirely we would be criticising him for ball watching and losing his man.
