It's all a gamble. But I'd rather throw the dice and get a new Manager now (or preferably several weeks ago) in than let LJ take us down.

Keeping a Manager who is so clearly struggling and who has brought a record number of straight league defeats for the club onto his CV is a the biggest gamble of all imho.

The whole of football is a gamble and you only have to look at the scenarios around the sport to know you will probably lose your stake whatever happens. Who runs the show these days, is it the management , the players or those greedy agents? Having watched Leicester on the telly many times this season I was shocked and confused as to where the champions from last season had disappeared because they looked lifeless, clueless and devoid of ideas and I wonder whose fault it was. In my mind success can only be achieved when you do everything right from the owner right down to the tea lady and all that fits in between and I think Bristol City are missing many factors, especially when it comes to making the right decisions.

We can all throw facts and figures mixed up with a lot of personal thoughts at the situation but when push comes to shove the reality is that we don't honestly know the answers because we don't have the full truths at our disposal, and whether we like it or not probably never will. I have sadly come to the realisation that only one person counts in the day to day running of Bristol City and I'm afraid, that despite his constant attempts to convince us otherwise, he doesn't listen to anyone else but himself and as far as accepting criticism that is something he will never understand. Wouldn't life be better if you hired anyone other than what your ego can accept and allow them to do their job without constant interference because after all what is the point of hiring someone just for the sake of having an insufficient person in the job.

I am disappointed with Steve Lansdown and I can only wish he wakes up soon before his ship disappears below the Championship horizon, however I think the time has long since passed for rearranging the lifeboats.

Leics had a wake up call ...reference Vardy's comments ... they didn't expect CR to be sacked!
