It has been the basics they haven't been doing agreed. I just keep saying, it can't be as simplistic to say they stopped trying to get him sacked. As I keep saying, after everything, why would they have lost confidence if something or things hadn't happened behind the scenes? Things like ranieri sacking the psychologist they all worked with in a more brutal way than he was sacked himself. What's that about? And why no sympathy for the psychologist? I'll tell you why, because he is a normal human being who the media don't give a crap about. All this only kicked off because the media love Ranieri as a person and fail to see what Ranieri the manager was doing. To quote you, it's about cuddly wuddly Claudio

With the exception of the word literally, I agree. They did hit these heights against City as well, so they had it in them. Maybe the opposition is what raises them. Cue the ****ers beating us at KP soon.

I agree with that sentiment John, Claudio will be fine, counting his monies whilst your club flirts with relegation...something had to be done and well as you say, you can't sack the team, so it had to be CR. Ultimately I'd be like you if that was Spurs, I'm not risking my team go down for any individual either.

<applause>:emoticon-0148-yes: Top man for saying that. It's true as much as many would deny it that if it was their team they think differently. TBH if it was another team I'd probably be on the other side (I'm enjoying Brum dropping down their league after they got rid of Rowett).
I'm sure Claudio is fine with his £3 mill or whatever....no doubt the psychologist had to go and get another job right away to make a living

As I said earlier, whether Ranieri had lost the dressing room or not, is immaterial, imo. He wasn't producing results and clearly wasn't able to change that, so he had to go. Too much at stake.

Yes, there was a big difference in attitude last night, but also Leicester got their tactics spot on. Vardy was a constant menace and chased anything that was punted forward.

He'd already shown early on what can happen if you play too high up the pitch and give him space to run into. He forced Liverpool to back off from some of their high pressing game.

I do believe it, we all know what Vardy wants and we all know what Leicester will do when they win the ball, launch it for him. If I'm in a CB partnership as soon as Leicester win the ball I'mm dropping in to cover the CB marking Vardy but our two stayed square of each other all game which made no sense.

We play a high line that's what we do just because there's pace you don't abandon that you deal with it.

Which is what the manager and coaches are for.

Players will do what they are told.

You're not dealing with it, though. You're conceding too many goals.
Boro have conceded less and they're 17th. Can't score for ****, admittedly! <laugh>

Southampton have conceded less, too. Back to shopping at St Mary's in the summer? <whistle>

If you'd defended we would have run out of ideas. Try and out press us it's curtains.

At the moment that's the bottom line. We can't break teams down and lack pace in our defence.
Matip is quality but when lovrens out we're ****ed. We even played Can as a CB last night!

Tbh this whole saga I've been on John's wavelength, pretty much agree with everything he's said.

The opposite of what Fossy has been rattling on about.

John's a proper fan. Fossy is a fraud, he'll support Chelsea next season.

I'm not sure whether that's a compliment or not <laugh> or whether you're using me as a pawn against Fosse

Leicester are keeping their options open over who will be the club's next manager, with ex-Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink a contender.
