You seem to struggle badly against anyone that sits back and allows you possession. You're fine against decent teams that try to play football. I'm not sure how Klopp's missed this, to be honest.
Well done Leicester. Any team that want's to beat us watch this and the Burnley game. Defend all game and counter attack. 100% you'll win. Klopp need's to sign some more combative type players in the summer to counter this, crazy we didn't strengthen in Jan tbh.
It was Leicester back to playing kick n rush! It worked though. Can't see it as a start to a revival. Same as their City game.
Yeh but Coutinho got to score his first away goal since August so every cloud mate... BTW have you seen @astro he seems to have gone missing from his little venture on the PL board a couple of months ago?
I dont get why pro managers cannot adapt or refuse to. Poch is the same..you played into their hands like we played into yours the other week. Sit back and they would have gone flat mentally. That's football.
Yeah very true. Toe to Toe attacking we'll beat most in this league, easily. Play deep against us we can't penetrate, we're all about fast interchanging play - cancel that out we don't have the height to adapt. Klopp did change to 3 at the back and the second half we had their backs against the wall, but he rarely changes it like he did tonight. It makes me think if he'd started with a back 3 against these **** teams we might beat them easily.
Well it's no coincidence that all the **** teams do a number on you're boys mate. Something to think about
Klopp ‘Thank God we don’t have to play again tomorrow. Now we have to react again.’ Somebody please tell him he's had the least number of games to play since they went out the FA Cup. One game a week, if that, and he's still moaning
They didn't sit back they attacked from the start, we didn't match their desire and aggression. This match didn't follow the usual format of teams allowing us the ball.
...spot on Luv ...I'm sure Sky will have particularly enjoyed the third kick and rush goal ... ...the through ball from Albrighton for the first goal was top drawer... nice to see that enduring bitterness in some still endures ...how I wish we played more like 'Pool and won nowt for a quarter of a century ...
Those that think we sat back last night can only have watched highlights ...we were all over 'Pool like a rash from the start ...and kept it up until we were 3-0 up ... Liverpool really had no answer and it could easily have been 4 or 5 by half time ...
I noticed people going on about us not dealing with teams that sit back, it simply wasn't the case. Leicester bullied us from the start and we simply didn't react.
