Regardless of whether you rate him or not but Surely you would want markovic coming on instead of Woodburn?

The lad is 17 and we should not be expecting him to make an impact. Agreed that we should be bringing him on when we're winning.

I'd rather you come on than Markovic. Your main point is valid we should have someone coming on who can make a difference Markovic isn't it so yes Woodburn over Markovic. But neither is the answer.

    Our attack is top 4.
    Our midfield is top 8.
    Our defence is bottom half.

Klopp has to address the defence this summer.

I'm wondering if something happened over Christmas and he's lost the dressing-room. That's the only reason I can account for this massive drop in form. They're putting in zero effort, then they have the audacity to crawl off the pitch looking gutted.

I just think there could be more to it than **** players.

It could be some players are refusing to play with other players because they are that **** and it's caused a rift.

It really does look bad and all the fingers are pointing at Klopp.

Nonsense, it's the players who didn't put the effort in that was clear to see.
As much as I agree with the manager not being immune from criticism it's the players attitude that's the issue here.

With regards to attitude, I don't think it's to do with underestimating the opposition.

If anything, it's the lack of leaders throughout the team. There really isn't anyone who stands up and takes the game by the scruff of the neck.

    Nope.

Our attack is no longer top four. It had a brief spell looking good until teams realised that you simply had to defend deep and narrow. We have no threat in the air, can't get behind and if we do, can't deliver a ball.

Our midfield are average. The occasional good pass is more than required for top 6.

Our defence is poor but incomplete. Playing two none defenders is asking for trouble.

Migs had a good game I thought <ok>

I thought that given we could all guess how they were going to play, our manager was clueless yesterday. I like Klopp but being surprised at how easy it is to play against is is wrong. We've been found out!

I agree, we need players who will go and show fighting spirit by example. Our midfield just wasn't up for the fight, we were bullied in there and didn't protect the back four or create for our forwards.

    Fair points.

Even last season, we were becoming quite difficult to beat. We've lost that solidity where the system protected the players.

Feels like the 433 is exposing players now.

But dont worry arsenal game next. Ironed on win that

    Id agree with this.

There was zero physicality shown there.

I just want to be sure about this... no cards were shown last night at all.

Not one lfc player kicked a leicester player all night. Not one.

    That says it all.

I agree with first point. Firminos been totally found out.

Midfield yes. Wujnaldum looked terribly nervy. Lallana flipped the off switch and can is championship level.

    Defence is non existant.

What i was really disgusted about was they were piling on pressing and we just needed 2/3 one touch passes to be away and all we could do was hoof it... no physicality to counter them plus that =3-0 down.

Arsenal are made for us. A bit like us , no physicality, lots of passing. They will be vulnerable to our high energy high pressing game as we pinch the ball in midfield.

That's the irony and the depressing thing. We can only win if teams play into our hands. The Likes of City, Spurs and Arsenal who come and try to beat us at a football game. With teams who are scared or refuse to play ball or bully us, we are stuffed as we simply have no alternative game plan.

It's scary that our whole back line could be easily upgraded. Clyne and Matip are our best defenders but they're decent options at best.

Shout out to Migs - he looks a lot more proactive coming off his line.

They are also capable of murdering us if they get their passing right, this is what is frustrating with bottling it last night we are now looking down the barrel of a gun. Arsenal beat us and we're right in the ****.

Clyne does a job and Matip is class imo, get a decent CB in with Matip and sort out LB and we're done there.

It's scary because all teams have to do is give us the ball. They can either:

    - give us possession and sit deep and catch us on the counter or;

    - give us possession and press our midfield. Our midfield cannot bypass a press and they bottle it and end up passing to full backs or centre backs. This then leads to errors and losing the ball.

We need more players who want the ball and don't treat it like a hot potato.

    I like both but:

    - Clyne is so poor going forward and is awful in the air. He breaks down so many attacks.

    - Matip is our best defender but he's prone to errors as well. He's been poor since coming back.

Don't get me wrong - LB and LCB should be replaced ASAP.
