To be or not to be ... Will it be Shakesphere ?

... well we appear to have just wiitnessed Julius Ceasar ... "et tu Vardy" ... hopefully last week's tempest will all turn out to be much a do about nothing and Claudio's tenure will not have been a case of love's labour's lost or a comedy of errors and hopefully, taking things measure to measure, all's well that ends welll and we'll get back to as you like it.

I've seen some of the explanations but don't think they give the full flavour of what is involved - my brother-in-law still turns out for Ross-on-Wye and I've watched him on several occasions ...so here goes with what I have come to understand::

A maul is very much a group form of "strictly" for big gay guys ...one of them towards the rear of the group hug attempts to hide the ball up his shirt with the expectation of being tickled by the opposing team attempting to get their hands on it ...

... in contrast

A ruck is where there is a mass opportunity to cop a feel whilst undertaking a very gay form of "twister" ... but without the big plaggy mat ...

Should you happen to bump into a group of "rugger" lads in the pub, you can now impress them with your newfound knowledge of their sport. The normal response is for them to break into loud guffaws, label you a "jolly fine fellow" and then to buy you drinks for the rest of the evening... you should try it <ok>
Thanks Fosse. Where would I be without you looking after me.
