Boxing is **** nowadays... Kind of picked up but thanks to the Internet, social media etc we can find Gobshites at 10 to a penny...its not real enough for me...the characters are fake....no real charisma....no genuine sympathy for their upbringing, Robots and boring farts to boot.

Sonny Liston, Sugar Ray Robinson all the way up to the Tyson/Hagler era....the Eubank/Benn era....then it went **** and has remained so for me.

I'm hard pushed to find it interesting nowadays.....heavyweight Champions of the world rolling around in Batman gear.

Let's be honest Joshua hasn't fought no one and catches Klitschko on his way home from his Hydrotherapy swimming classes for his bad hips. If anyone is testing Joshua its Haye and that sums it up...5 years ago Klitschko would have schooled the puppy that is Joshua. Mayweather is boring like **** and he got the PAC man on his last legs.

Mayweather v McGregor....that's boxing? That's desperation from all concerned.

Tyson at his peak would chew up and **** Joshua out then use him as fertiliser. Yet this guy is on a par with 'the baddest motherfucker' in this world? **** naw....but I like Joshua as a person...I can't put some of the current Champs on a pedestal though.

But Joshua won't be at his peak for another 5-6 years so you cannot make the comparison. Don't forget, Tyson fought a load of bums too who had lost before they set foot in the ring and got bullied by a cruiserweight in Holyfield. Joshua, is much bigger, faster and more powerful than Holyfield. Hell, I bet his jabs are more powerful than most of the heavyweights power punches that Tyson fought.

You say Klitschko would have schooled AJ 5 years ago, well of course he would have, he was still an amateur.

You say it went **** after Benn/Eubank? We have had several great tear ups including Llewis v Klitschko, Lewis v Holyfield II, Ward v Gatti, JMM Pacman series, Hatton, Calzaghe, Mayweather, Del la Hoya, SSM etc.

The trouble is, people say boxing went crap because of the Klitschkos dominating the heavyweight division. It wasn't their fault they were superior to everyone else. Now we have a situation where everyone is saying that the HW division is alive and strong - yet WK and VK would have annialate everyone at their peak.
The same with Calzaghe, SMW division was poor when he was there because he was levels above the rest, yet as soon as he retired, the division became 'strong'.

A lot of strong youngsters coming through too, especially Andrew Selby, Lee Selby's younger brother.

Saints have been well mugged. Both by bad luck and **** officiating.

They've been the better side for virtually The whole game, but end up losing.

After the linesman gave that shocking offside decision at 0-0, then I shouted for you throughout mate.

You were extremely unlucky and losing to that lot at Wembley in the dying minutes is something i sat through last season, so I know how gutting it is.

Hope you had a good day though <ok>

Zlatan is a world class player. I'm enjoying watching him in the PL.

Having said that I think the best team lost but Zlatan was the difference.

Would love him at Spurs, just what we need, class baller with the arrogance to go with it.

    Unlucky Saints.

    <laugh>

That Southampton striker charging into the box to get on the end of the cross wasn't in any way at all interfering with play or indeed a distraction of any sorts so was simply ignored by all the defenders and goalkeeper, right?

You heard yourself? He was off side.

Go give your head a wobble, it was Bertrand and he was yards beyond the ball and in no way interfered with play.

It was a perfectly good goal

    What was he doing there?
    Seriously.

You think he had absolutely no intention of being on the end of that cross and so everyone should just ignore him? Off side, simple.

If Everton had had anything similar happen at any time you'd say the same. Just because Matt Le Tissier was having a little half time whine doesn't change that.

    You're talking absolute ****e Chief.

He wasn't interfering with play as the ball never got near him and was put in the net by Gabbiadini who was onside

    Read the rules mate ffs.

I know the rules. If he wasn't intending to interfere or be involved in play he should have just not run into the box.

Otherwise he's in play. The fact someone else got to the ball first does not change that.

He was right next to Gabbiadini, that would have put Valencia off.
