So we are spending millions trying to attract people to come to the City - why then when we succeed do the stewards at the K Com do their level best to ruin it? Three polish blokes sat behind me on Saturday were picked on by the stewards from the minute they started chanting (in Polish). One was using his phone a lot to take pictures/ film and they swooped on him because of this. Clearly none of these blokes spoke English and in the end they were hauled out - only to be let back in 20 minutes later (hopefully somebody saw sense). On the other hand Sam Clucas thinks that its OK to jump into his four by four and drive through the crowds straight after the game ended and on the concourse, way before he is supposed to and he wasn't exactly hanging around. If anybody had tripped in front of him they would have been seriously injured.
my 13 year old son and 2 mates decided to go yesterday but could not work out how to get tickets on the day so did not bother
I was really surprised to see Clucas driving off so quickly after the final whistle He must have left before the players made it to the changing room Just seemed odd to me (and yes stupid to drive through crowds then)
My never far from the surface Spoonerism kicked in when reading this thread title. I thought it was a report on Ed Stewart's cremation gone horribly wrong.
Its funny how we see things because i was thinking it was great that he was letting young fans take selfies with him as he was getting in his car. But must admit i was surprised that he was trying to get out throgh the crowds
I was waiting for that . I was at work and he was in town. He,s doing fine at school Chazz just needs to plan his Saturdays better
one of the stewards was literally screaming at people telling them to watch the match yesterday- he was red in the face he was shouting so loud - I was under the impression that if you paid your £30 to come in you could go to the bog, eat a pie, sit at your seat and look where you wanted - does it say on the ticket you have to look at the pitch or you'll be verbally abused - I think not
I did do a day stewarding, sometime in the 80's. I was given the job of stopping Hull City fans trying to kick their way into the oppo's dressing room. I did my job but I didn't get paid. Obvs...
