I think they've been conceding a lot to the top sides since Hughes took over. They definitely have this season, anyway.
It's embarrassingly one-sided today. We've come to expect Stoke putting in a shift, but Spurs have had so much time and space. They would have been all over Kane like a rash once; today they've allowed him to shoot at will.
A ref did his joband booked a stoke player for the first ott tackle and then the 2nd ott one ... they then had to stop kicking us and try and play football
4-0 FT. Superb first half, stroll through the second half, unfortunately broken up by a couple of injuries. Very, very easy win. Stoke fans will be furious. Hope our Belgians are ok.
Sorry but that was a weak half mentally. Why did we not kick them in the bollocks when they were down. Our shooting was hopeful with a hint of 'game over anyway' about it. That's lazy...we can't have that mentality. 4-0 well done.
Going by the rules, that's a totally ridiculous decision. I can't say that I'm too bothered, though. The game was clearly over and virtually everyone was just going through the motions. Not sure how he'll justify that to his assessor, though.
