I must be nervous. I'm cleaning the kitchen...cupboards and all. (It worked for Helen)

 

The wife has just shouted out to me if there are any more cup finals this year

 

It's strange, I'm not even nervous. (Not yet, anyway...)

They're Manchester United. They've world class players and Jose Mourinho is their manager. They should win. That's the expectation of everyone watching around the world.

I'm just going to enjoy the day and, if United aren't at their best, we've got enough to get the job done.

No expectations, but plenty of hope. Very excited.

It did! A couple of times too. Maybe every Saints fan should do some chores tonight... Shame that I can't, my hotel room is already clean and tidy

 

I'm exactly the same, DTLW. Excited and really looking forward to the final but not remotely nervous... yet!

 

As long as I stay away from pundits and predictions I'm fine! What do they know anyway.

I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Both teams have players that are capable of winning the game, through a moment of skill.
The big difference between them and Saints, is that their players are generally capable of those moments of skill, on a more consistent basis, which is why they cost, and earn, more than our players.
We need 8/10 performances from most of our players, to give us a chance of winning, but Utd can get away with several of their players putting in 6/10 performances and still get a result, simply because of the aforementioned consistency inherent in their players, especially when it comes to creating and finishing chances.
Que sera sera.
Hopefully we will see a performance similar to both legs of the semi final, only this time we take all of our chances, instead of just one.
Right now I am just looking forward to getting there and soaking up the atmosphere and giving 100% from the stands.

And then having a few celebratory beers.

 

I am slightly nervous at the moment, for the first time. The feeling has sort of crept up on me. Even though I don't give us any real chance (but then I also didn't travelling up to Anfield), and firmly expect Utd to lift the trophy - I really am going there with no hope or expectation, but nevertheless sheer excitement and pride - and have consequently been relaxed all week (but excitedly relaxed, if that is possible), I have now got this slightly nervous feeling.

Comfortable 2-0 Utd win I'll go with, not that I am at all focused on that. My focus is the chance of going to Wembley to watch Saints!
