Was thinking the same but he gave Wood's goal, yes he was just onside; but could have quite easily have blown and given Sheffield Wednesday the free kick.
read back and presume that sky showed a different game to the one I attended. we scored early and penalty apart never looked like conceding. Sheff wed have the most potent forwards in the division and woody was better than all of them combined.
Literally can't remember last decent ref we had at elland road, they all like to make it about them and take over, a good ref should be unnoticed
what did ****wit the plastic twat have to say. Wood scored, dominated their defence and green saved a penalty.
yu7ssa``z got to disagree El. Linesman didn't flag.Would have emphasised his bias if he'd disallowed it.
Just thought we gave too many opportunities from free kicks into our box. Agree everyone they took was ****e. i was nervous the whole 2nd half but then I am the ultimate pessimist.
Long may it continue... Quick enough to post when we lose... Never in a million years is she a leeds fan.
Strange that we have two loanees that can't get any sort of look in. Are they really that bad? Sacko seems to get slated regularly so why aren't these two playing?
great result against a promotion rival ... defence and holding mids were immense, never gave Wendies a chance ... Hernandez pure class, his dancing away from opponents and getting Leeds moving just quality, but needs other players to pass to, not just Wood Sacko a lot like Huckerby, loads of pace but doesn't lift his head, wasted a glorious chance to play Wood in for 2-0 ... Green's penalty save was world class, and it would have dented Rhodes' confidence even further, bet Wednesday are really looking forward to paying out £10m for him in June Monk really has this team fighting together, and in a tough derby against a high flying Wednesday they stepped up and delivered ... the new signings are clearly being given time by Monk to settle in, and we'll see their impact when the time is right on we go, six more wins should see us in the playoffs Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
As a plastic I watched on tv. Thought we were decent for 25 mins, went a goal up and then played like that was enough. Turned out to be correct. We defended well but were poor on the ball. Not untypical of the season. Ref was shocking. Got the major decisions wrong including both 'penalties' and several yellow cards. For all don goodman was convinced the defender got some of the ball on the o'Kane incident, he clearly didnt. Stonewall in my opinion. Lucky it didn't affect the result. Great to get the three points. Avoid defeat at Fulham and we should be ok. Prefer to see us playing better but can't fault the spirit and organisation.
