Hello, team. Hope we all well. Good, good.

There is a very interesting back story re one running today. ALIBI DE SIVOLA was in training with Mr Nicholls for 2 years from 2014, after being purchased for £75,000, and achieved sound results, in that time, but was limited to just 3 racecourse appearances during his stay at Ditcheat. He was a promising runner-up on debut in a decent Kempton bumper prior to filling the same berth on his hurdling bow. Then he put that experience to good use by getting off the mark at Carlisle in November 2015. That was his last appearance on the track.

Alibi De Sivola was put back through the sales ring, last summer, and was sold for just £2,500 a remarkably low sum for one with such promising form to his name. The purchaser was one Noel ‘Touchy’ Fehily. This is eye opening as his previous part-owner was Chris Giles who Fehily used to be retained by so the jockey evidently was of the opinion Alibi De Sivola has improvement in him and more than likely had ‘heard’ something, about the animals potential, via his association with Giles. Now under the ownership of ‘Maddie Giles & Tom Ronaldson’ I’ve no idea if Fehily benefitted from any ‘mark up’ or was simply acting on their behalf in the first place. Anyway, this bargain basement purchase is now in the care of Mr Henderson, the forum’s favourite trainer, and debuts for him tomorrow (1.15 Kempton Park) off a perch of 127 with none other than the above mentioned Fehily in the saddle.

Alibi De Sivola has obviously had his problems (now a 7YO and just 3 career runs and none since Nov ’15), the betting forecast has him down as the stable second string and you do have to take his fitness on trust but I do think him worthy of an each-way wager today as you can guarantee that with his previous form allied to Mr Henderson’s ‘magic hands’ and brilliant brain he could, I say could, prove to be a lot better than a 127 rated animal.

Meanwhile, its a million miles away from being original, but Mr Henderson really should have a double at the meet with CHARLI PARCS (1.50) and CHAMP (4.45). Both are expected to take high rank this season and in the terms to come as well.

    Good luck all.

    Good morning peeps

    Avoiders today are .... :)

Can't see beyond Shotgun Paddy in the Eider, but this is always an attritional affair and not a race to sink your savings into. I am going with Elgin in the Dovecote - River Wylde will be outclassed I think, and Capitaine is the main danger here.

Charli Parcs and Frodo should each win their races comfortably - short price double. In the Pendil, I agree with Pops - Viva Steve for me too.

Over at Lingers it's Boom The Groom for me in the Hever and old fav Grendisar in the Winter Derby, a race he has won before on what is virtually his home track with 7 wins here.

    Good luck all <ok>

Has Sue Smith got one "well in" in the opener at Newcastle? De Vous A Moi (lovely name for a horse) has been running in handicap chases off a mark in the mid-130s and is getting weight form all his rivals today. Taken a bit of 7/1.

When a horse travels sweetly and then just doesn't find anything (Crimson Ark) is that due to fitness, a step up in trip or a drop down in trip required?

Some intriguing racing with just a couple of weeks until the festival.

The opener at Fairyhouse 1:45 is a more than decent juvenile contest and Dinaria Des Obeaux will be a warm order for Gordon Elliot, having shaped well enough despite being beaten a few lengths by Mega Fortune.

I like second time out juvenile hurdlers though and MENGLI KHAN was as green as grass on hurdle debut and knuckled down well to close to the line on the re-opposing Ex Patriot. Won't have any problem with the ground given he is sired by Lope De Vega and I will take a small chance that he causes a surprise and wins for Jack Kennedy on a Gigginstown second string.

Gevrey Chambertin has let me down more times than I care to remember. Perhaps he can make amends in the Eider at 28/1. He's certainly capable of outrunning that price.

Well, that was disappointing from Charlie. Certainly looked like he wanted quicker ground. Hope he's okay after his fall?

I wouldn't say it was awful Nass .................... a once-raced juvenile slightly outpaced in a Grade 2 and coming back into it at 2 out.................

Anyway, all about Meadowcroft Boy today, 7 minutes to go :)

Given his reputation and how he cantered to victory on debut I thought that was awful. He was also hanging/showing temperament in my book before he fell. All about opinions!!
