Yes it could be the beginning of a wonderful new chapter now that HIAG has finally admitted that he has spent the last 6 years making a tit of himself. I will of course monitor his progress and ensure that he doesn't stray from the path. But it's commendable that the lad is going to give it a try. If he spends as much time researching football as he has done looking at pictures of animal porn and staying up until 3:30am making memes, then he could actually hold down a proper conversation.
I agree He has the perfect opportunity here, to engage with the debate we were having regarding Diego Simeone and why he thinks he is no better than Moyes and Hodgson.
That is quite correct, that Simeone is no better than David Moyes and Roy Hodgson, in the Prem. It's a truism, of course, it being the case the Simeone hasn't managed in the Prem. Should Simeone manage in the Prem, will he prove to be a better manager than either Moyes or Hodgson? Who knows! Some foreign managers have done very well in our league, but most haven't.
I have made no such condemnation of the old HIAG, and neither will I. Please do not attempt to draw me any further on this, so as to avoid disappointment. The new HIAG does not judge anyone, Pixie. I do not believe in standing in judgement of my fellow man.
I can see you and Piskie getting along well from now on, it's a new world and going forward I can see you both being good friends.
It is great to have your unflinching support, Luvvy. Thank you, for that. As regards a long-term friendship with Pixie, yes, I would like to think so; however, he appears to be quite reticent, still. I think he will need more time to adjust.
It's fine mate, you don't have to say it. Your actions at rejecting the old HIAG says it all mate. Good luck with the new persona.
Good man nice to see you accepting this new situation. GM has flounced off in a huff but he'll be back soon and he's bound to get on board.
Of course I agree that he hasn't managed in the prem yet, but you were, as you may recall suggesting that Simeone would be no better than Moyes or Hodgson in the premier league. Given that he has won La Liga, the Copa del rey, The Europa cup and got to two Champions leauge finals all within the few years that he's been at Atletico, I wondered if you could elaborate on how you've reached this conclusion ?
I think HIAG would gain more respect if he simply admitted that he's been a total bellend in the past, but I can understand why it's difficult for him to admit that, given how much energy he gave over to coming across like a ****. However, I am a man of peace, and I am encouraged to see him trying to find his feet talking about football. I will be keeping a note of his comments and reviewing his efforts at reformation, should he stray from the path, he knows that I will gently nudge him back on to the path of salvation. I feel that given my input, he will want to avoid any further wum **** ups in the future as they have tarnished his reputation so badly, that he will not want to repeat such folly
Was all of that put forward by the old HIAG, on the wum? What a card he was! You've got to hand it to him, he was a rake. I bet he wrote all of that with a massive twinkle in his eye! You didn't take any of that seriously, I hope? As for me, I really wouldn't want to say how well Simeone would do in the Prem. As I said before, plenty of big name foreign managers have come here and bombed. Is Simeone the one you want at Arsenal, Pixie? Is that why you are being so defensive about it?
I don't think the old HIAG was wumming, because immediately after I'd asked him to explain how Simeone was no better than Moyes or Hodgson, he first clammed up and then had a bit of a breakdown. If he was wumming I would have thought he'd have come back with a witty retort. As it was he just started crying about it. Anyway, I take it that you now reject the idea that Simeone is no better than Moyes or Hodgson and that you agree with me. Or are you sticking to the line that the 'old' HIAG took ?
Yes, Pixie's tactic is rather obvious, Luvvy! He is definitely finding it hard to let go. But, please, do not judge him on that. It cannot be easy for him, and I am prepared to give him as much time as he needs to adjust. The stalking no long bothers me, for the simple reason that Pixie is stalking a different person, not me. I cannot crack, Luvvy, because I am not the person that Pixie thinks I am. I have changed. I do so hope that Pixie is able to move; everyone else has, and he will be in danger of being left behind. I would hate for that to happen.
