    Agreed.

Indeed I mentioned in another post about his press comments which have been very bleak and not particularly motivational for the players.

Sky have just released an article saying the players told the owners they were not happy with him.

True true, apologies for any offence caused :emoticon-0103-cool:
Fosse always has been a huge fan are Ranieri tbf, I always had a lot of respect for the last regime and feel they didn't get enough credit.
It's sad it's come to this though and the players should be ashamed nonetheless

Reflects badly on the players and hopefully a lot of them will be shipped out in the summer but shows what situation the owners were put in and they've acted as best they can given the situation

    Agreed.

    Very messy all round.

I mean where the hell has Marez been this year?

World team of the year last year and he's done sod all this term.

Which shocks me considering what Ranieri helped these bunch of journeymen to achieve. Takes an arsehole to down tools on someone like that and I for one would be letting my feeling known about it if I was watching them next game. Atrocious...eugh, Chelsea lite.

Yeah he had to go but then again if they weren't playing for him, it was them who got the club to the bottom ends of the PL. Players got the awards, cars, contracts after last season....I think they need calling out.

I agree, but abusing the players and calling them out from the stands could be more detrimental. I sense it's better to just move on and try to support the club out of the current predicament. Slate the ****ers in the summer before they're sold

You have to put most of this down to the players.

It's easy to say Ranieri lost the dressing room so he had to go. But did he? Or did they just get too big for their boots?

Why would any bunch of players be so fickle as to lose faith in the methods of a man who brought them so much last year?

It looks to me that Ranieri's whole system revolved around Kante covering the defence whilst midfielders like Drinkwater got forward to support the attack. That hasn't happened this year, and to nobody's surprise, Kante has proved impossible to replace. Hence they've been both more vulnerable in defense and far less potent going forward.

Maybe there's a connection between Chelsea's rise from last season, and Leicester's fall?

    @FosseFilberto

I believe the bet was that Ranieri would be sacked before the end of next season (might even have been by Christmas 2017). Assume it was a tenner, no?

The difference between Skyrimmer and a bucket of mouse droppings?

    The bucket :)

I'm never in bits about our managers ...they come and go ... and I've seen them all back to Frank O'Farrell ..

We don't choose our club because they are doing well...our club chooses us by birth or family links ...it's in the blood and stays there...thank you for your concern mind ...hardly a day goes by without you thinking of me (and my club) :)

When I heard the news about Leicester sacking Claudio Ranieri last night, I couldn't believe it.

Was it a bigger shock than when you signed Juan Mata?

The old HIAG would have latched on to this in a shot, Sky, and would have shaken it about like a rag-doll in the jaws of a young Rottweiler; but not the new HIAG.

I have every confidence that Fosse will do the decent thing.

Ranieri is the fall guy, the manager always is. But I can't see how sacking him is going to help them to be honest.

It's certainly not going to curb Vardy's ego or turn the clock back or the scales down for Huth and Morgan.
