What do you wish on your own club Bobby? You sacked a manager who won you the Double to name one of a few oddball decisions.
Yet you think Leicester can't be ruthless for the long term benefit of the club? I think that's slightly snobby mate. I'm not disagreeing with the sentiment because its a tough one as Ranieri has done wonders...however its about the club and you'd be hard pushed for any manager to keep their job with Ranieri's record this season.

I didnt want mourinho sacked. I felt he earnt the right to turn us around being a legend. I was annoyed when abramovic did do it but its not like i can do anything about it. As such i have described my club as soulless.

Unfortunately from being a fairytale club and one that neutrals could get behind, leicester have shown exactly the same sort of unloyal ruthlessness that has reared its ugly head in football. In that one move they have demonstrated that there is no loyalty in football and there will be no sympathy shown should their players decide to jump ship if they go down

I'd go and boot the **** out myself if he got my club in such an embarrassing situation...last Gaffer to toy with the idea was Ramos and he lasted 8 games...about 3 too many.

Spurs and Leicester are 2 different debates. Relegation is a very big deal.

100%, this is the best post I have seen from anyone on the subject and sums it up brilliantly. Someone asked about why Pearson didn't get sacked two years ago. Because he hasn't lost the players. When you do, there's no way back unfortunately.
Also correct that most of these people would be quick to have a different view if it was their club imploding

Rumour is that the plane ticket to Sevilla was in his name! I laughed when I read that but with the timing...

I'm not sure if it was a bit odd or the club wanted to dangle a CL carrot, whatever of it maybe left(I think you have a chance) to whoever is going to take over a team on free fall. Maybe a new appointment might give the club a boost and getting a 1-0 or a 2-1 and extra time is not beyond a team like Leicester. Just second guessing at the timing bit. I'm not sure when is a good time to sack when we are almost in March..I can tell when it is a desperate time though.

The teacher did a bit of computer programming in the school which required a bat to be put on a city background and to be made to say "boo" to someone who then screamed.
One of the kids, who is 9 yrs old, (who the teacher trusted to work alone) got their bat to say "**** off **** face" <yikes>

    His defence?

"Bats are bad ****ers who swear a lot"

    <laugh>

Cant think of why I have remembered what he got the bat to say when I read you post <whistle>

Oh and real men don't cry...we eat quiche and sob gently while listening to Barbara Streisand albums :emoticon-0106-cryin

No worries. @Spurlock @Hoddle Is A God @Saintsfan08 also making lots of sense (am I feeling ok?)

Leicester fans are not fickle. Most of us stuck with Pearson and I was devastated when he left. Why? Because the players played for him and he had their respect. There was loads of positivity on Wednesday night as we saw a glimpse of that towards the end. All we want is effort and commitment, not even results week in week out and we certainly don't think we should win the league or get European positions regularly.

Fact is, he lost the dressing room, the performances have been worse than they have for years and his ramblings in press conferences have even got to a stage where they make Pearsons ostrich gate seem like a key note speech!

It just seems a sad end to a fairytale, why didn't they let him resign and go

Was he going to though? I find it hard to believe that they wouldn't have given him that option as it would have reflected much better on Ranieri and the club/owners. If he refused to and said he wants to fight blah blah blah, they weren't really left with any other option if they really felt the position was untenable

Sorry mate, I did mean to tag you above as one of those making sense though. It's funny that those who have historically been the biggest culprits for having digs at us and winding us up are the ones now behind us and thinking logically! Might make for a more more interesting match on Monday

Fossy is in bit's this morning and the delusion is strong.
John Boy keeps it real, and gets respect.

I don't need 'tagging' to confirm I make sense, mate.

    Everyone knows that already.
