    I'm a big fan. IMHO they were the best ska revival act with The Specials in second place. I posted Two Swords and another track earlier in this thread.

    Mick Jones joined General Public with Dave and Ranking Roger upon leaving The Clash and there's recordings of Roger singing and toasting on early versions of what became Combat Rock.

    Are these two of the best cover versions ever? They're up there.

    I've seen these guys a number of time. Pete Perret's drug usage has left him in a delicate medical state and his medication has raised his singing level a bit and he's a bit higher than he used to be. However, they're still a bloody good band and if they ever get out there again, I recommend them highly.
