I remember it well <ok> I wasn't there that day because the ARA had arranged (wrongly imo) to stage a march in central London. But I think estimates were more like 50,000 people at that demo rather than 2000 'left wing anarchists' as the press portrayed.

I knew people at the demo though and they said the same thing about the police, that they were simply hell bent on smashing some skulls. One of my mates said that he saw police who had taken off their identity numbers and badges so that they couldn't be identified, and they had cordoned off all the side streets but didn't have any barriers or crowd filtering on upper wickham lane, his opinion was that they did that so that the police horses had a clear line to charge at demonstrators, which is exactly what they did.

You will remember it well, but that ****er Tory Bexley council refused to do anything about the BNP for years and allowed it to boil over into debacle it became.

I'm quite surprised he hasn't gone yet.

He must have probably 2/3 games before they'll pull the trigger.

  3. Sevilla v Leicester City

The big game kicks off at 19:45 tonight, and I think it appropriate that we follow it, here, on this thread.

No wumming or personal abuse, please. Let's keep this to factual reporting and, above all, let us focus our comments on the football.

On that note, let's get on with the build up.

Do you lads think that Ranieri will field a strong side, tonight? Or do you think he will be keeping an eye on the Prem and resting players for that?

He cannot believe that LCFC is going to win this competition; on the other hand, there is a very real possibility that LCFC will get relegated if they let any more games slip away from them. This poses a real dilemma for him, in my view.

Ranieri? TBH I think it's the champions league at the very least. If it's out of sight after tonight it might put pressure on the owners to act. Good news for your lot for Monday if he's still in charge though, bit of a boost for your goal difference!

The "Sevilla v Leicester City" matchday thread on the Leicester board is more appropriate ... unless you are also suggesting that the best place for discussing Spurs v Genk is the Spurs Spiral thread? ...perhaps you are...<whistle>

We will field our strongest side barring injuries ...

Momentous occasion for Leicester City and a day to be proud of.

My back aches because I've had my chest puffed out all day, proudly wearing my Champions pin.

Win, draw, lose. Whatever happens it'll be a night that will go down in Leicester City history as the biggest night in our noble history.

Superb mate, watching these so-called 'big club' supporters wave their tiny cocks about in their bitter rage makes it all the more enjoyable.

Sky is the only big club supporter who gives you stick mate.

<rofl> ... but possibly because he has adopted one of the Spuds more fragile fans in his Mother Hen guise than anything to do with him being a fan of the Nearlyside former giants ...

Leicester won the league but I wouldn't say they are a big club, Spurs don't have to win **** all and we are bigger, that's the reality of this cock measuring competition...sorry folks.

You probably didn't but you are being suggestive enough about my club for me to totally dismiss your club and its achievements.

That's how we rollin', then that's how rollin' <ok>

This particular Spurs fan wishes you all the best tonight <ok> Your success in this competition has no bearing on my team, so I'd love to see you go further.
