That's just pure speculation on your behalf, players tire and subs normally change the flow of a team. Of course you know what's going to happen before it does......so clever, can you give me tonight's lottery numbers?
now you are saying he was in charge for 5 games .. to me if you include WBA then in my book he covered or had the major influence over 6 games .. ps I have an assortment of muddy, but slightly rusty spades should you wish to borrow one
JGF... I said in the beginning he was in charge of 5 games SoD sacked, Pembo in charge for 1 game: Played 1, Lost 1 Cotts sacked, Pembo in charge for 4 games, Played 4, Won 1, Drawn 1, Lost 2 Overall: P5, W1, D1, L3
well done the spade is almost working ( would you like a bigger one ) ... completely different era's players and teams for 1 result to make 5 a really tenous link if you read through and digest your comments
You are the one who is making speculative assertions. It is beyond improbable for City to concede those goals with the same personnel on the pitch playing in the same manner as they did earlier in the game -. The space would not exist or the opportunity. Do not deny space, do not press the ball, allow time and opportunity even Sunday league players know what will happen, and so did the fans present urging City to push up ... And once again groundhog day.
You said they were tired!! Your words not mine......Your quote "In the second half as City's players tired Mr Johnson changed the shape"
Players tire every game. That does not necessitate change in set up. There are five subs. A squad. There is no need to change something when it is going brilliantly. Instruct subs to carry on as they were.
savage said todays players are wooooooooooooosis they used to play 60 games a season.... some more and some players were in every game ... if you had 500 appearances it was 500 not 300 plus 200 cameo substitutions billy wright did his 100 odd caps? playing mostly 9000 mins, recent players have done them with just 7-8000 mins!
Players except Tomlin should be expected to keep to a similar shape. The team was capable of this earlier in the season. Are you implying that the players are not being suitably prepared to play differing roles?
Right. So 5 games isn't enough for me to make an assumption that he's bad, but it's enough for you to make an assumption that he's good? Jesus... And please don't try to patronise me when your writing is like Stevie Wonder playing Scrabble
Some players are able to adapt, not all......Peter Crouch wouldn't play left back!! Variety of players would be better to adapt to different formations........Unless your Cotts that plays to the same system no matter what
when you have to stoop to a low as far down as this , to be sarcastic or try to be insulting I don't want nothing to do with you ... it is extremely sad that people are blind, my grandfather was WW1 ...1/2 his hands and eyes, to insult them as they are ( the blind ) sorry just shows your total lack of respect and a willingness not accept you can never always be correct
Peter Crouch wouldn't play left back ... Joe Bryan is expected to play four positions. Then we are in agreement Lee Johnson should have the skill to know players are not robots and simplify his too complicated teams set ups, and spend more time on the training pitch ensuring players are prepared. He has spent millions on players who cannot adapt to his tactics. Time to end his employment at BCFC ...
I'm sure it's the same for the experienced Steve Bruce who is going through the same motions......i'm sure given time it will work out for both
Joe Bryan .. we have had a few since, but Trevor Jacobs always used to get the crowd going as he hurtled down the wing, corner flag and cross... he was like a little tank. I think Joe is a little bit more forward minded and thus his midfield expectation ...
Your Lee Johnson v Steve Bruce debate. Steve Bruce has been at Villa four months (?) and inherited a team that was in free fall. Lee Johnson has not and the team was not (see facts provided by jgf). Steve Bruce has I think four (?) promotions. I think he will turn it around. Great choice. Lee Johnson ... Poor choice for BCFC. Change poor.
And you moan how much LJ has spent.......................pocket change compared to what Villa's spent.....so far 77 mill.. I also thought it was a good choice.......Not sure Villa fans see it that way! By the way, I would have drove Brucey here myself.....but it's also not happening for him at the moment.. It happens, that's football!
