The question is starting to get a bit meaningless as the way I see it, as nothing has happened yet, its not likely to for a few more games. After Fulham we have Newcastle where nothing was likely to be got anyway. Then Villa, again, a draw at best.
The big test will be Burton on 4th. Win, and he will get a few more games, lose and I still reckon the outcome will be determined by the Norwich result on 7th..

We then play Wigan on 11th away. Regardless of who is in charge, with 10 games left I think it would be too late to take recovery action. We have to hope that maximum points can be obtained against Burton and Wigan, so as to at least not let the nearest rivals have them.

Question really is -Would 10 games be enough for a new Manager to turn it around given he would need some time to assess squad, or in my opinion, LJ will likely see season out and need to win the majority of those games to keep us up-

And who would you put in and what credentials does he have to deserve the job? or is that another difficult question for you to answer?

Should we sack LJ now? was the question. Yes sack all day long. maybe sack him twice!!! Decide what the job is manager or head coach??? advertise job then look at ccv's short listing and on. could do a full RR and go him and him and him but if the job is not vacant and you don't know who would be interested and what the non vacant job will be it is a bloody hard hard question unless they openly chuck their hat into the ring for the non vacant job?????.

Do like teams that play with skill down the flanks and attack. So no Pulis clones.

I think we must let LJ finish the job he has started, and take us to the end of the season. Anyone else in will take us down - they wouldn't have a chance of saving us this late in the day
If he keeps us up or not, LJ MUST be replaced during the summer break because he is not the man for the job.
Its a results based business, and there really is no justification for keeping him if we truly want to evolve

If he keeps us up, I'd like him to get the first dozen games next season..He would have learnt by his mistakes, all young managers has to start somewhere..

Been going since the seventies and never seen so much spending behind somebody with so little ability. some of the most expensive signings in Citys history are on the bench not on the coach and being loaned out. mismanagement on a record and mammoth scale. done nothing before getting BCFC and done less here. sack. don't need young and a green rookie. he can start off somewhere else.

Just heard, he's spent 77 mil on players........Most fans including my self would have gone and picked him up if we would have had a chance of having Brucey as our manager............not a green rookie, changing formations etc......interesting!!

Who said I was comparing? Only you....Anyway, with all his promotions, it's not helping him now is it?
Don't have to compare LJ to Bruce but you can compare the situation.....77 mill spent, changes team selection and formations and fans are saying he's doesn't know his best 11, discipline problems at the club....
I don't see us getting a result there but if we did, could be the end of SB.......it's a funny ole game!!

Now you are comparing Lee Johnson to Steve Bruce !!! Not sure what your point was but I’ll have a punt.
    Its one of these-

A You want experience but there are no guarantees as Steve Bruce a man you would (???No??? yes????) put in charge is showing.
B Experience is over rated. See Steve Bruce.
C Lee Johnson is the man and should be allowed to learn from his mistakes here.
D Lee Johnson is top talented shut up Red Robin there is nobody else better anywhere ever.
E They have only been losing one nil.
F Magnusson, Tomlin, Engvall are ones for the future and it will all come good in years time.
G It takes two three four five transfers windows to turn a team around unless you are Steve Bruce.
H I asked a question but the real answer is Steve Lansdown likes Lee Johnson so that’s it shut up and be real fans!!!

I'd suggest (in order of likelihood):

    1) On somebody else's coaching staff
    2) Out of the game entirely
    3) Manager of a team abroad
    4) Manager of a team in England (League 2 or lower)
    5) Manager of a team in England (League 1 or higher)

I'm not wishing ill upon him, but I think he's going to fail with us, be sacked, get another job in either League One or Two, ultimately get sacked from them within 2 seasons and then be somewhat in the footballing wilderness. It's very difficult to maintain a respectable reputation in Football, with only a couple of failures (or even perceived failures), enough to make finding a job extremely difficult (case in point, SC is still without a job).

    I will answer your A to H..

You struggle to read very well, I'm NOT comparing Steve Bruce to LJ but situations at both clubs at this moment in time are similar.

    A. You would expect Steve Bruce to do a good job in whatever club he goes too with his experience. As it is, even with all the money spent it's not working out as expected. I'm not sure with what's happening there at the minute I would bring him in....would you right now?
    B. Experience over rated? yeah i believe it is a bit, depends who it is and what's been done.....you could be experienced of being crap!
    C. As much as any other manager that is likely to be appointed by BCFC......
    D. Never said that, make it up as you go along.
    E. It has been narrow margins, not lost by more than two goals all season.
    F. Never said that either
    G. I think it takes a few windows to get the right players in, sometimes your lucky and they gel together instantly (See Leicester last season, See Leicester this season)
    H. It's Lansdowns choice, in my opinion, including Cotts, has always gone for the cheap option and nothing is likely to change especially after "The Coppell" farce

Anything else you want me to answer? I'm sure you disagree with most of my answers. But I try and stay consistent unlike many on here that changes their mind with the wind!!

NB. I did say at the beginning of Jan, that if we were looking to replace Lj, that was the time to do it before the transfer window!!

    Pretty fair.

I don't struggle to read at all. you have a habit of seizing on or creating a point about ???? consistent about Lee Johnson. buck stops with him. too inexperienced and indecisive by far. out of his depth. BCFC should not be the place to cut his teeth. get rid.

I think John Pemberton fits the bill, even if it's until the season end.
Something has to change, we can't go on just hoping results will get better.
1For, do you not think JP would be a good choice ?

I've got to the stage where I'd be happy with Rowett or Appleton as well, change is a must.
Have a feeling it might be Appleton.
