My first 'real job' I worked with an old 'head' who after 3 or 4 pints would come back to the office and do their entire act. Still, he lent me his MC5 albums and made half the day bearable. He hated young people having short hair and no facial hair. He "fought' for our right to wear our hair down to our knees" as he put it. I lot of wasted potential is my assessment of Oasis. Had they ditched the 8 minute long late '60s Beatles revivalist nonsense for two minute up tempo Who/Jam (or even Slade) inspired stuff, I could have liked them a lot more
