Damien Comolli said the fees quoted for Jordan Henderson were wide of the mark,and they are undisclosed. Nobody has any idea what Liverpool paid for Jordan Henderson apart from John Henry, Damien Comolli and Kenny Dalglish and Liverpool chairman Tom Werner. The media have put the fee at the top end whereas they have put Man Uniteds fee for Phil Jones at the bottom end when both in fact have add-ons included. As for Andy Carroll being like Shearer, I have made note of that, and have been accused of repeating myself, but its my opinion thats why Kenny signed him...he can see the similarities. However if it is pointed out in 3 years time that Andy Carroll is the ''New Alan Shearer'' then a lot of people are going to have egg on their faces and some of those are in fact Liverpool fans.

Now Sunderland have used their money to invest in their squad whilst your owner tells lies to the supporters and the manager about how much can/will be spent. Dave. Spot on. We know what its like to have owners that allow players to be sold without reinvesting all of the money. We had it in 2009 with Robbie Keane. He didn't work out and we were crying out that January for that money to be reinvested. It wasn't. We never saw that money. At least our current owners are not just reinvesting everything we recoup, they are insisting that money is spent. As Kenny said in January, Torres sale or no Torres sale, the signing of Luis Suarez was sactioned by the Liverpool owners.

I think it all rides on our opening 5 fixtures (And the remaining 3 weeks of the transfer window). If it goes badly then there will be a lot of upset toon fans and possibly a few 'boycoutts' there is a lot of expectation on our new signings after Pardeux's promises.

Well you are stirring. Some sensible fans understand his move, there's only a handful that dislike us. We're fashionable to dislike. People claim we're finished, then the confident Benitez comes along and gets up everyone's noses and delivers the biggest trophy in club football. The fact that we only add the FA Cup to that means this doesn't silence the haters though and they come back stronger, finally jizzing in their own pants by the time Hodgson is in control and Hicks and Gillett are bankrupting us. We're going to face the same fate as Leeds or Newcastle everyone said. And then our dream owners swoop along, bring back the club legend as manager, and go on a spending spree that sees Luis 'set the Premiership alight' Suarez as our best signing. We then take Villa's best player, Sunderland's best player, Blackpool's best player and both of Newcastle's best players... Then the pundits tip us to knock Arsenal out of 4th... So that would be anyone who was hoping we would be run into the ground, anyone who buys the Utd orientated red top papers, anyone who dislikes Hansen and Lawrenson and Thompson and thinks it's our fault they're on TV, any Spurs fans because of Comolli and the fact we called them as a flash in the pan, all those clubs whose players we have just poached, Arsenal fans because they are despairing at losing 4th spot, anyone who supports those teams who were run by anti-Benitez managers at the time and finally Fernando Torres and Roy Hodgson because they both wish they were still here! In the eloquent words of Millwall: No one likes us, no one likes us! We don't care, we don't care!
Can't see it I'm afraid, most fans are constantly shifting the goalposts where Ashley is concerned. He told Pardew he would get to spend ALL of the £35m on new players, when that didn't happen fans were still defending Ashley saying there's a need to be financially prudent and not spend much money on players. Now that you've spend next to **** all on players people are trying to include wages and signing on fees in the £35m, ignoring the fact that he's trying to get rid of some of your biggest earners (Enrique, Nolan, Xisco, Routledge) while trying to get rid of even more (Smith and Barton). Maybe your fans just don't have the appetite for a fight, which would make a mockery of the image people have of Newcastle fans being passionate about their club. EDIT: And Suarez has been training and should start on Saturday.
My hatred comes as i'm at uni in Liverpool and they're the biggest bunch of ****s i've ever met the scousers. Nothing about football, always liked a lot of their players and hope Enrique does well there, just despise the thick fans
