We wanted Batshuayi but couldn't afford him. The same with Mane and Zafa [cough]. We gambled and it hasn't worked out after recruiting Wanyama, Alderweireld, Dele, Eric Dier, Trippier and Son. That they all came last summer is unfortunate but last summer was difficult with everyone having loads of fresh TV cash.
