Bournemouth charged by FA for not knowing where their players are for drug testing. City got fined recently for that.
Imagine what would have happened back in the 70s and 80s! FA - "Where are your players?" Club - "well, try either the bookies, the starlight club or the Dog and Duck ....."
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-dorset-39014883 Bournemouth's Arter has had a daughter....after he and his wife suffered a still birth previously. Good news.
Brilliant news. Hope everything goes well for them all. I know a few who have been through that but still can't even imagine what they must have gone through
Heard this on the Beeb too. He's hardly been essential to the team for several years. If he hadn't been the name that he was, with his association with Ferguson, he'd have gone two or three seasons ago. I imagine the League Cup Final might just be his last game. Or it's a Kroc [oops] of bad hamburgers. Amazing that someone who is frankly periphery, can earn £300K per week under his present ManU contract. My goodness he's been well managed.
And that other slightly over-hyped former player, Ryan Giggs reckons there are too many foreign managers in the PL. Well, if he went and got a job in the lower leagues, one day, if he shows enough evidence to warrant it, a PL club might take a chance on him as a manager: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39039409
Unfortunately Ryan is stepping on his fabulous playing career by becoming a whinging baby who stamps his feet and cries when he doesn't get what he wants. That's how I'm starting to remember him anyhow........
Yes, he comes across as a dick of a bloke. It's like when I speak to younger people about Kevin Keegan. They know of him as this rubbish, emotional manager yet hardly know him as the footballing King of a player he was.
Very true.....but at least Kev made a shed load of money getting that rep, Ryan just goes on television and says 'not enough ambition, no opportunity, don't you know who I am!?!'
At least Kevin has a personality and some charisma. Giggs has absolutely none. I can't see him invigorating or motivating players, unless he's totally different on the training pitch.
