This is awful...7 good minutes is simply appalling...they look like the second favourites to win the competition and we look like a mid table team. I know we are missing Rose and Vertongen and Lamela but the lack of effort and energy is pretty shocking

But when you don't have like for like players to just come in off the bench to replace your best players (not many teams have), you have to change shape and adapt to the players you do have. Davies is a good defender, but he's getting shafted on the left right now. It we had some pace in front of him who was attacking the opposition frequently or giving them a danger to think about, Davies wouldn't be under as much pressure defensively, or be made to look so vulnerable.
We could play all night and won't score. We look like we have no confidence. God knows where it went but our season is in danger of becoming a slog if this keeps up
