I'd have preferred to send out a weaker line up and then play the first team on Sunday but hopefully we'll put ourselves in a strong position tonight so we don't have to worry about the second leg, and see off Fulham inbetween.

 

Anyone else thinking of doing a fiver on Sissoko as first scorer just for the banter?

One thing I never liked with fielding a strong lineup to try and put the match to bed early and allow some second stringers to get a good half hour as we see out the game...what if the game isn't put to bed early? If we want GKN to actually settle in or Wimmer to play out of his slump they need to get some serious minutes, and they're just not getting them.

It's not helped by trying to work out what formation we're actually using. 4141? 433? 41221?
