Hope he is the same player. Sometimes an early comeback is not a good thing. We need him as I'm far from convinced by the new lad.
Could being the key word. Seeing as the only source reporting this is a website called "owngoalnigeria" and who, fittingly for their website name, use a picture of Diomande instead of Moses, I'd be tempted to hang fire at the minute.
Omar looks alright there and we now have Elmo, why rush him back? He got so close only to end up injured again, there's not much point in bringing him into the first team if it's not necessary.
Yeah don't rush him back, especially when we now seem to be doing fine in defence. One of my biggest regrets earlier in the season was we were throwing away Odubajo's big chance at playing PL football by going straight back down, so if we can stay up and see him run out next season, it'd be brilliant. The form he showed at the end of last season was outstanding.
I don't get these posts. How do lot you know that he'll be ready for next season but not by the end of this? Best left to the medical professionals working with him on a daily basis I think. If it turns out he's fit and ready sooner than expected that can only be a good thing.
What don't you get? An extra few months mean that he'll certainly be ready. Why bring him in for 2 weeks of action, when not doing so gives him about 3 months extra rest? Especially on the back of the fact he re-injured trying to get fit for January.
If Moses has worked tremendously hard to get fit over the last few months, he is hardly going to be amenable to someone saying "just stay out of the team for a few more months, in case you do it again". He's either fit to play, or he isn't. And if he is, he should be considered by the manager.
I would hope Odubajo is a bit more sensible than selfish - he tried to get fit for January and reinjured, so if a Doctor tells him not to push it or else risk being out another 6 months, I'm fairly certain he'll take their advice. If the Doctor gives him the absolute all clear and he's fully fit with 3 weeks to go in the season, sure, let him play.
To be fair I think you can read all these posts as 'for ****s sake...don't rush him back...even if our medical team say he's fit, we're still concerned because there have been other players who seem to have been brought back too quick who get injured again' Obviously it's great if he is fit, but if he's only going to be fit for a couple of games then it would be gutting if he was brought back and it turned out he wasn't quite ready
This is an utterly pointless debate, he's spent months getting back to fitness, when the medical staff think he's ready, he'll rejoin the squad.
Well yes. If he's not fit to play, he won't play. But that's not what is being debated, is it? Maybe I've misunderstood.
