Aged about 16, bored and naive, me and a friend ventured on to Oak Road playing fields and scooped up some of the 3 or 4 day old dried-out grass cuttings, and put some in a skin - like a joint. Tried to smoke it. Didn't work. The Rizla burned but the grass just turned black and curled towards the ground limply. Had to go back to scouring the bushes and trees for pieces of discarded Daily Sport that might have had a nipple on it. True story. Innocent times.
