If you haven't changed your mind after reading what the likes of Filey had to say, you're a lost cause anyway.
My great-grandads fought for King and Country, at least that's what they told my grandparents, who told me. Bit of patriotism, nationalism, monarchism and a sense of duty to their families to prevent the Germans from invading. They didn't really give a **** about a post-war United States of Europe; in fact, they resented helping the French considering my great-great-grandads fought and died in France and de Gaulle still acted like a whiny, ungrateful little bitch. Think we should do away with this romantic myth that the Allies were fighting an ideological crusade during WWII. They fought for the same reasons as the previous war - nationalism. inb4 mods come jangling with the thread lock keys
I said something about the merits of alcohol? Show me? Let me save you some precious time my friend. I've never said any such thing.
Besides, Filey was complaining about black people and orientals buying Arsenal tickets. Which one of us is a lost cause?
So what would you do with heroin users Des? How would it be regulated? How would the heroin be paid for? Who would inject them? Who says how much each heroin user can have?
That's just an old joke about the big clubs having a ****load of none local glory hunting Prem fans. Filey is no racist and you ****ing know it.
I'll be honest Chazz, I have little personal experience with heroin users. I've met one guy who was tricked into smoking it when he thought it was weed (he didn't go on to be a heroin addict) and one viewing of a documentary where two business owners smoked pure heroin and lived on a barge. They seemed quite happy and didn't suffer from the side affects associated with the **** it's invariably cut with. Surely you agree if heroin was legal, at least they would know how much they were taking in a certain batch and if they were ordering too much, say through prescription, they could be offered professional help?
The more they nick the more they can take. If its free... they can access professional help now i assume.
I don't believe he is a racist, no. Not in his heart. I do believe he is respected and rightfully so. Though, I believe he is of an age to be raised by a generation of casual racists and may be one himself by proxy. Which is understandable. Everyone's granddad is racist. They were taught that way.
