lose the Fulham game then go.

Having said that Burton and Wigan play twice before we play Fulham.
So we could be in the bottom three before we kick a ball.

I don't think that Steve Lansdown operates like that

I'm with RR on this one. Fulham is an absolute must win. After that we go to Newcastle, where we will likely get spanked and Villa where to be honest anything is possible. The comes Burton at home which is another must win.

We still have to play Blackburn and Wigan away both of which we simply must not lose. But chances are we will with today's lack of spine.

Based on our inability to keep our nerve in games, I can't see much coming from these away games and that spells probable relegation. Right now it's possible relegation. But it will turn to the other very quickly.

    it is
I have been watching the robin getting brighter, the coal tits getting frisky ... a dunnet, quite rare a crow with white edged wings tried a photo but no good but likely will stay around male blackbird has intensely coloured beak, but female not really interested might nest in one of the bushes this year.
Black currants budding nicely, as is the cherry and appletree, usually had daffodils for a month by now but just leaves snowdrops nice show .. will have to cut down the banana tree's soon... left them this year ........... yep everything is rosy.

Nobody has said it's all Rosy in the garden, in fact most have said that it's not working for him......but the massive problem I think most have is what's the alternative....Is it anyone?
So far on this board, we've had Pardew, Pearson, Warburton & Rowett.............................Is anyone really excited :1980_boogie_down::1980_boogie_down: about any of these? If i'm honest for me, not in the slightest.
Warnock would probably keep us up, but cannot for the life of me see him leaving Cardiff half way through the season to join us. He was at Rotherham last season, kept them up and left......where are they now?
So there we have it folks, make ya choice!!

The heady L1 successes under SC are now just a dim and distant memory consigned to the pages of history.
This is Bristol City., and we are equally likely to get points when they are least expected.

It doesn't change my opinion that I think LJ is so out of his depth it's untrue, but until the owner does the decent thing we're stuck with him.

I can't remember any manager in recent history (at our club or elsewhere) being afforded this much time it must be said..

No way am I comparing them but Fergie was in the opinion of the fans at the time given far too long. It does happen but not nowadays everyone is trigger happy.
I want him gone but like Onefor has been saying given the choice out there it's not great signs better. I just wish we went with my choice last season and employ Monk. But now starting to think anyone could be better :(

It shows no real sign of improving and he is still tinkering and making bizarre sub decisions. I lost any belief a few months ago and to me he is a dead man walking. It is a case of when, not if, he gets sacked. I have felt before that SL has waited too long to fire the bullet but in the end he did it. If he is staring down the barrell of relegation I suspect he will act. I just don't know this time if it will be too late.

I'm sorry RR, but there really, really is. Let's not pretend there aren't a ****load of crap managers out there.

LJ will come good I'm sure. Just probably not here.

it does feel a little pre-destined, that he will screw it up here and have a major success elsewhere.

in reality, he IS screwing it up here, and i can't see anyone else employing him after so he will probably become Gary's assistant

there is a live outside chance he will be in the play off's .....
its part of the plan .. many years ago I was knowledgable regarding SL AND THE COMPANY HE WAS DETERMINED TO FORGE I think they were then based near Clifton station or very close by ... they took, as I did, different company, in those distant days completely green, individuals and turned them into salespeople that became either bread and butter or high flyers .... but you had to stick with it .... one c*** salesman I trained realised there was money to be earned if they did it as part of a plan ..in 1 month he added £1500 to my monthly income .... I was on 2% of what he sold he was on 15% his wages for 1 month £12,000 and that was 1987 ( it was a once only he levelled out at about £3000 )
