When you were were young you looked at women in their 40s and thought no way.....
These days you look at them and the ones in their 20s and 30s and think yes.
    More choice.

Interesting you say that. I had 2 criticisms of him when he started with us:

    1. He was 100% predictable going forward in that he always cut inside. He very rarely went down the channel to the line to cross. Fortunately he seems to have varied that now, & is more inclined to hog the line these days.

    2. He would fail to cut out a cross 9 times out of 10. I don't mean that he did it because he was caught out upfield - I mean that when he was 1-1 (or 2-2) on the wing, he would fail to cut out the cross when he had the opportunity to. Basically, he fails to make the tackle. He's got away with it so far (mostly) because of our fabulous CB pairing, but he has not improved in this area. It's only 2-3 times a match, but it's fill the nappy time every time he fails.

    Does this ring any bells?

I think you have hit the nail on the head, he has better players around him ,so his misgivings are not as costly as they were with us. Our current right back Mark Little is dire. It would not surprise me if we score 2 or 3 tomorrow but could easily concede 5, thats how crazy we are at the moment.

One thing is for sure, we wont score four or five playing as we do at the minute, not just against you but against anyone.

If we play like we did in the first half at Derby (3-0 up at half time) we will give you a game

The fact that we drew 3-3 in the end tells you much about our squad!

I'll go for a 7-7 draw, with Leeds equalising in the 97th minute after being 7-0 down at half time.

An interesting question, I'm sure many fans will come on here now and say Johnson made a mistake, yet I suspect they are the same ones saying all last season he wasn't good enough at this level as he gets caught going forward to often. We brought in Adam Matthew on loan last season at RB and he was excellent so Johnson felt he could get a decent fee for LA and let him go. Sadly the re-signing of Adam Matthews hasn't worked out, he's been awful and injured in equal measure, so letting LA go looks a bad choice now- easy with hindsight. There were not many on our site saying it was a mistake when we sold him, despite what they might say now.
It's a long shot but we could sneak a point tonight, here's hoping as we have a horrible record at Bellend Road.

Re: Ayling, it's possible that off the pitch antics were a factor in him being let go, though primarily I think we put our right back eggs in a Adam Matthews basket.

City are actually capable of playing good football, but are often naive & mentally weak. I wouldn't be surprised if we took the lead, only to sit back, trying to defend it and s**tting our collective pants. 2-1 Leeds.

You Brizzlies are very negative considering, after two defeats, apparently our world has caved in, we are now rubbish, Monk doesn't know what he's doing and we will be lucky to escape relegation :bandit:<somersault>

You disappear for all this time & all you can come up with is a ludicrous post like this? Is this the same Cooper who, with Berardi, were the only players to get pass marks on Saturday? <doh>

Ayling is on the straight and narrow as he has a settled life with his woman and old mate Kyle Bartley and his lady. On top of that he gets a slap from Kyles mum Maria who has known Luke since the 2 boys were at Arsenal. Great move for Ayling and times when hes the best thing on the park even with Pontus on the pitch
