100% agree Taff Tony Millington was my fav and by far the most entertaining <party>
For some strange reason I always seem to remember him wearing a red jersey.

Personally, I wouldn't upset the make up of our defence - we're starting to look "solid". Part of Bradley's failings was his inability to identify his best defence and stick with it.

    Ayew could be an option.

If we beat Chelsea next game and Man City and a few others " Top Teams " win their next games they will be 5 and 7 points behind Chelsea and strong lineups will be put in place by the top teams the rest of the way ... top teams we've already played . Clement has turned us around 180 degrees , and god bless his hiring .

Yes, my fondest memories down the Vetch were when Freestone was between the sticks. Like most keepers he could have a howler but he was generally very good.

Can't stand Lineker. For that reason alone I hope that bites him on the arse.

Like the idea Dai but he's still learning his trade. I think he should be allowed to grow as a player without the added weight of captaincy on his young shoulders yet imo.

Respect of the players, leading with choice words and through example is what's needed in a captain imo and at this point Cork is the best choice. When he's captain he's a better player imo and we need to get the most out of everyone right now.

A left field candidate who I think would feel the honour of being captain in the right and improve his game because of it is Fernandez. Don't know what his English is like but he's s senior player, has the respect of the players and I think would thrive with the added responsibility. Fabianski is another outside shout for me. He's manned up under extreme pressure this season and has come through relatively unscathed but looking at the team I think Cork is the right choice right now.

Disagree. I don't see Cork shouting at others, organising things. I just don't. Remember how Williams used to do it? That said, I agree on Mawson. Way too early in his career but has the makings. Fabianski? Good shout.

Shouting is only effective if it means something to those being shouted at who'll then react in a positive manner .or maybe there's no need to shout

You have to go back 80 years when Man City won the old first div title and were relegated the next season. That is the only time it happened I think.

I've always admired Lineker, but his behaviour on MOTD (where he is supposed to be a neutral presenter) has changed my attitude towards him. Leicester fans on the Not 606 forums tend to be OK, but their matchday fans and their MOTD presenters (!) are pricks.

Lineker don't have to be neutral at all...why do you think that ?

Just an assumption, otherwise it will alienate all other fans.

Jeff Stirling on Sky supports Hartlepool. He cheers when they score and has cut in on other presenters when they miss a goal. It is quite funny, but he shows passion for his team which is ok. Maybe because they are lower league it is more acceptable.
