Wondering if to buy this Hyundai Veloster Turbo I looked at yesterday

Was looking at this coupe as I like the looks of them and it has the quirky 1 back door for my daughter to get in and out

Are Hyundais any good? Reliable etc?

The Veloster is pretty decent but i'd get a Scirocco over it any day since it has more badge prestige and the fit and finish will be better, VWs are rock solid reliable also which will give you more pleasure knowing you won't get stuck on a motorway with your daughter on the way for a weekend out than any gimmicky door opening. Can't comment on driving experience as I've never driven the Hyundai. Depends on budget and what trim/performance you want in the car of course and if you're buying new or used.

How does one accidentally stick a truncheon in a man's anus?

That case in France is probably the worst excuse I've ever heard for rape.

I do like those Scirocco's but you're paying another couple of grand because it is a VW

Also you see a few of them knocking about, I wanted something a bit different and you dont see many Velosters about

Understand where you're coming from but I'd stand by my points above and still get the VW even so, protect your investment man, that Hyundai will depreciate like **** and be harder to sell on. Also that model tanked and was cut in 2014 so it didn't exactly fly anyways. Hell I'd have a top end Astra over it.

Yeah they have a great reputation for being reliable. Bought one about 10 months ago and I love it.

Drivetrains are reliable, what Hyundai has a problem with as they age are things like door locks, radios, dash rattling, fans quitting windshield wipers quit working.

The motor keeps running but over time the internal hardware and niceties may give you issues. It probably will never break down of you though.

    So .. I just read this - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38978373 .... 'unethical hair' ?

Former Sunderland striker Asamoah Gyan is among a group of more than 40 players deemed to have "unethical hair" under United Arab Emirates Football Association (UAEFA) guidelines.

Some Islamic teachings ban 'Qaza' hairstyles, where only part of the head is shaved.

Individual match referees judge whether players' haircuts are appropriate.
