Watched Girl on the Train last night. Pretty decent chick flick book come film come thriller. 8.5/10 Would do any of the 3 in the film. Also watched Lord of war. Nicolas Cage is pretty decent in that badboy as well as it telling how to deal arms. 8.5/10
Watched my way through Marvels Defenders (Daredevil, Jessica Jones & Luke Cage). Enjoyed all three, carrying on with MCU extremely well but taking it down to a street level and making it more Superhero's for grown ups. Very much looking forward to Punisher, Iron Fist and then them all coming together for Defenders. Just hope they tie it into the larger MCU more in future, films, Shield and Inhumans were barely mentioned which is a slight shame considering they're larger world these shows exist in.
It's cheery...doubt anyone on here will like but Mozart in the Jungle on Amazon brightens my mood. Oh and I would dangle a length in the direction of HiLi...lol
Watching Shaun of the Dead on TV at the moment. My friends niece plays the girl in the garden who gets impaled on the patio canopy base. She is a primary school teacher now.
Crawled my way through a very disappointing Silence, terrible film. 2 and a half hours of boredom. Garfield is ****, Nielson only in it for the last hour, it credits Adam Driver but he's only in the first hour and offers nothing. Cinematography is dull so it's not like it's pretty to look at. No idea where the good ratings are coming from? Probably because of who the director is and we're supposed to like it. 6/10
Insane rating system where many people only use the range 5-10 instead of 1-10 I agree with Bob, average is 5, below average but passable is 4, 3 is crap, 2 is abysmal, 1 is a crime
Nah man, anything below a 7/10 sort of rating on like Rotten Tomatoes and IMDB is not worth touching, life's too short to waste time on sub-par entertainment. 5/10 is total ****e if you ask me and in avoid-city Alright sometimes there are those films that are so bad they're good but anything else ... na fam
If everyone did that, nothing new would ever get watched PS...plus, you'd miss on a great films such as 'Teeth' too
