Even without Gigginstown Willie has 6 out of the 10 in the Deloitte. Expect Riven Light to be ridden for a handicap mark <whistle>

Could be a shake up in the Triumph market earlier on the card where I expect Bapaume to take all the beating.

As Sir Barney Chuckles would say: "Cor bally blinkin blimey" how interesting is the Pertemps Qualifier at Exeter? More plots than an Agatha Christie novel. Not least top weight Reve de Sivola who will be looking to qualify for the final without affecting his mark of 147. Lizzie Kelly takes of 5. Fingal Bay goes again but the 2014 final winner is (I think) already qualified for this year's final having finished 6th at Sandown. Then we have those old rogues the Pipes with 5 entries including Red Sherlock, who was 6 from 6 before finishing 9th in Faugheen's Neptune and hasn't been seen since. As if that wasn't enough we have the forum's favourite Corinthian riding dad's horse for Meil Mulholland. The mind boggles.

After seeing plenty of Douvan's arse for the last 3 years I think Sizing John can step up and take the Irish Gold Cup at around the 6/1 mark. Chucking that with Ruby's 3 Grade 1 rides (Bapaume, Saturnas and Bellshill) in a L15.

Odd place for Robbie Mc to take QUICK GRABIM tomorrow but I think he will hose up in the Exeter bumper under Noel Fehily.

I backed Sir Egbert on debut and greenness cost him the race ..................... be very interesting to see how he goes here, price is pretty skinny though.

What a card at Leopardstown. Empire of Dirt 9/2 in the Hennessy will do me. Pretty exposed bunch up against him and the falling rain shouldn't hurt this ones chances as much as it will a few others.

Best juvenile Hurdle of the season tomorrow IMO.

Merie Devie and Dinaria Des Obeaux RFC- and one of them to win the Triumph.

    Really good Leopardstown card.

Rarely run in it too. This years Triumph looks a corker as does the race today. I think one of the fillies will win today and set up the Triumph perfectly. At the minute it's one of the more exciting races at the festival.

Apples Jade would have peed it last year but for her training setback beforehand (hence her later demolitions of the same opposition).

I think it is set up for one sooner than later.

    Different gravy Rachel Blackmore.

I'd be wary enough some of these juveniles bottoming themselves out today. Will be a pretty attritional race, if I fancied one in this for the Triumph (I don't BTW) I'd not be unhappy to finish second or third today. Tiger Roll was beat here, turned it round in March, same with the magnificent beast that is Ivanovich Gorbatov, a well beaten fourth last year in this before winning the Triumph. Just worth bearing in mind.

Definitely- I actually expect Dinaria Des Obeaux to win this today but for Merie Devie to potentially reverse form at HQ.

Yes, the tweedy county set do speak strange English. Noticed that with the Norfolk branch when I attended Fakenham races once; extremely odd people. Have not come up with anything yet today which I can put the devil's curse on, couldn't pick the winner of a walkover lately (remember one of those old Newmarket races, the Newmarket Town Plate was it, or a race called 'The Whip', can't remember, but it was one particular Newmarket event which was, more often than not, a walkover?

Good luck today, all you in-form guys! <ok>

I'm gonna watch the Rugby, what a hell of a game yesterday. It was a travesty that one team had to lose, the game had everything. A fantastic advertisement for Rugby Union, IMHO.

Oddy, found a not-bad brewery, Mönchshof. They do pretty good Keller, standard Helles, Lager beers, etc, Prefer the Lager myself. <cheers>

My local Edeka stocks it Swanny, tried the Helles a few times, not bad at all. I'm on Bayreuther Helles at the moment, very tasty and good price <ok>

Bapaume ran a bit flat there, thought he would go on and win nicely but found little when push came to shove. Fair play to the winner though, turned the form around well.
