Wow, Spurs flattered by the 2-0 scoreline.

Liverpool should have been 4-0 up by HT. It could have been 6 or 7 today. Spuds lucky not to be on the end of a hammering today.

 

Only just seen the 'highlights' or lowlights, if you're a Spurs fan!..

Mane is the difference. No doubt L'pool are a different proposition when he's playing.

I was considering them for playing football not having sex with. I'm not sure why Mané immediately makes you think of gay sex.

 

Well what we saw at Anfield yesterday just proves that we all knew that the Spuds don't have the required dangly bits to win a title. Even Poncetto stated '
" if you show like today that you cannot cope with the pressure to play to win the league than it is difficult to challenge and fight for the Premier League.

No **** Sherlock, after spurning the only golden chance in 56 years last season it is never going to happen anytime soon. Well played Liverpool it was indeed Mane against boys.

 

...I don't find myself wondering what 11 men can do ..but don't get arsey (pun intended) ...embrace it (them) ...

 

Great result for us but it was the prefect setup for us too.

Spurs didn't sit deep and defend and they didn't look to counter-attack (don't think they have the players to do this anyway).

This meant we had space to get at them plus, when they had the ball we could press. Most of those first half chances were when we won possession around the hallway line.

We don't gain possession back until we're near or in our own area against teams that defend deep and counter. Nor are we capable of breaking them down. Very different game.

 

We were a shambles.

You can't play that high up the pitch against players of Mane's pace and not expect to get punished. Especially if none of your defenders have the pace to match him.

He was a constant menace, and it might well have been a different game had he not been playing.

 

I bet Spurs fans wish their club met the wage demands of Mane now

Correct! I lost count just how many times you got behind them wide. They played so narrow it was asking for trouble as this is what Liverpool like to play, you seriously have to doubt Poncetto's ability to manage a potential title winning side.

 

To be honest, you dont have to visit a Michelin star restaurant to eat out well. There are a number of the "chain type" restaurants which do offer well cooked food. Unfortunately, my comments above don't extend to the Harvester!!

 

Or Cornish seafood resturants.
