Refereeing inconsistency or top team bias? Be interesting to find out what they say on MOTD. Still, we played generally well and with the time to rally the troops before the Burnley match Silva can get some improvements to attacking play before then. Some good crosses from both wings but more alertness needed in the middle.
To be winners or not to be winners that was the question. Did we suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune?
No wonder not many of our usual away fans went , they must have been in the past Never seen so many away fans sat down and making no bloody noise at all. At least the two polish lads from Hull found it great fun when I stood up and and started telling the row of arsenal tourists to **** off into there own end and get there ****ing arsenal scarfs off They joined in with me with much gusto. Got told TT have already got 8 coaches going to Leicester City I sure as **** wont be going to Arsenal away in the future. What a **** ground with **** fans
I thought one of the orientals might turn all hong kong fuey on me but he took his scarf off and didnt celebrate when arsenal cheated the first goal.
Come on Cas, you're older than I am and we both know there's NOTHING worse than a Hull White or Hull Red (unless there's such a thing as a Hull Burnley of course).
Wouldn't mind a Hull Burnley fan as much. Couldn't be accused of glory hunting. Hull, and East Yorkshire Whites annoy me more than Hull Reds. Imagine someone from cultured East Yorkshire paying to go and sit amongst thousand of Wessies.
When we were younger about 55 years and a library was like a temple some of us went in the reference library and found a large book which traced the origins of words. Naturally the words we were interested in the origins of were words like ****. Seem to recall it was originally an Anglo Saxon term for a small pebble thrown up when ploughing.
