    I really thought you'd beat us today, or at least put up more of a fight. I just see Hull & Swans improving and you, just well aren't really.

    Met up with Sunderland mate and told him it was them or us. No sentiment if relegation involved. But I would miss going to Sunderland after so long. Been doing the Sunderland/Saints matches since 1968 depending on which league we were in.

    All is not lost for Sunderland, Pops. The teams around you are struggling as well, two wins would be massive at this stage of the season. I think it is any three from the bottom six, Leicester can't win for toffee, Palace are in free fall and Boro can't score!

    Only listened to the game live when I could, but indeed, as far as I could ascertain at the time, we did change to 4-2-3-1. Dusan loved it. Said afterwards, to Adam Blackmore, that it is much the best formation for us to play.

    And there we have it. Moyes is hardly striking me as Mr Motivator.

    The owner has wrecked us imo. The money he put into the club from his own pocket (yeah right, now converted to loans with one of his own companies @ 8% interest. We now pay him £6m per year interest). Putting friends and family in the top jobs. Done us good and proper.

    All our remaining games are massive mate. Pressure on top of pressure.

    Anyway let`s not turn this into a mags & mackems thread. We`re on the wrong board for that. They did well today (aka we were ****ing awful) but I honestly hope they go on to lift that cup.

    Might even squander half a crown on it.
