Going to be absolutely mental on the trains I reckon. National express for me... probs leave about 7am
Decided I'm going to drive up, and park up on the western side of London and get the over ground train to Wembley. Miss most of the congestion and avoiding paying **** loads on beer.
Yep what I thought - booked the 8:10am from Bournemouth, gets me to Victoria 10:30am. Should be picking up fellow Saints fans in Southampton at just before 9am . Think it stops at Southampton, Winchester and London.
I might be on same one as you then mate will let you know when I book... Might go even earlier though. Need to dig my oyster card out too...
A question for those who have been on level 5, at Wembley, before. Having just discovered that the turnstiles for level 5 (turnstile A) are located diagonally opposite to where I will be sitting, are the exits also in that vicinity, or are there exits, from this level, on the north side? I am thinking that health and safety* would dictate that there are, but I find it odd that there appears to be just one access point for the entire level. Unless I have misunderstood. * I am also trying to work out how early I would need to leave, to beat the crowd, if things aren't going well. Please note the blue ink.
Pretty sure they will open extra exits..fans will arrive at various times, but all leave together. Saints fans will be the last to leave obviously.
Kids...huh! About time they let us oldies be mascots....I bet Godders would look great in a Saints kit.
Oh what a night, one night at Anfield in twenty-seventeen, Shane Long scored and it began the dream, Oh, what a feeling, what a night!
The second line could do with some work... but if someone comes up with a better version I'll try my damned hardest to get it going pre match If not, I'll still try but use my ****ty one
