personally i'm desperate for Lovren to be ok but not sounding good. I wouldn't be bothered if Lucas started as long as it was as DM as he at least knows the value of a little foul to slow an attack down but as CB against a good team , no thanks.
Do we have no youngsters who can step up? Yeah I know wrong type of game scenario, but could they really make our defence any less of a shambles.
I know Gomez has not played much for us, but his usual position is CB so I would prefer him to Lucas. We can then drop Can and play Lucas sitting in front of the defence and Hendo & Wiji in midfield. Rest of the team picks itself with Studge on the bench as he will be off in the summer. Does not even own a house up North now!

Lucas is an obvious weak point, just makes things harder for the rest of the defence. Gonna be a long evening I feel, a draw is the best we will do.

At least we've revereted back to what has worked for us in an attacking sense, Lallana back in midfield and Can finally dropped.
Basically Klopp has gone for sh*t or bust by playing the same team as when we were doing ok before Xmas, with the exception of Lucas as CB due to Lovren being injured.
