I slipped a disc a couple of years ago and have had back problems since. Recently it's developed into sciatica. Night before last was the worst it's ever been. I couldn't move and was out of strong magic pills. Slept on the floor as I couldn't even make it onto the sofa never mind upstairs! I don't help myself as once I feel close to repaired I start running which gradually ****s my back up again.
The back injury I had flares up now and again, hence the tramadol. I also go for a deep tissue massage every 6 to 8 weeks for maintenance and I also do a bit of yoga to stay flexible. Best thing is to stay active though and build muscle around the injury for support.
When I say massage though, I mean the intensive deep tissue stuff. It's a bit painful but effective. Id rather my missus stuck to the pleasurable stuff ....
