Stelling has become a grade a arsehole with a chip on his shoulder.

 

I quite like him to be honest. Usually comes across a decent chap and quite funny too.

A lot of his job is to question what the pundits are saying to make them elaborate on their opinion.

 

He 100% has a *thing* about Saints, which is bordering on pathetic.

 

It's strange because he has a house in the area, lives near me in fact. Whether that should have an influence I've no idea.

 

Did we? Thought it was year before? Either way point taken.

I think it has some effect, though possibly not as much as some think.

My point was Vin seemed to be saying "we've got a better team and odds favour us so we'll win" (paraphrasing).

I was just saying that there's plenty of reasons (not just the one you've highlighted) to suggest we might struggle today, history this season says we will. So I don't think it's unreasonable to suggest so.

 

It's not unreasonable to say so, I just find it very strange when people have "grounds that we don't win at"..... I don't see how something that happened years ago and over a period of time has any relevance or effect on a game today.

I think Vin's point is (and I agree) that despite us not being in the best of forms, there is more reason to be positive we can win it than not.

 

No it just seemed you were focusing on a small part rather than the general ppint being made.

He (and others) seem suprised a lot of fans are low on confidence, and I think there's plenty of genuine reasons why that's the case.

 

I think it's pretty clear. I agreed it is not unreasonable to think that, but I prefer to see the positive.... I didn't realise we had to spell everything out these days
