Apart from that, we have the question about Hector Bellerin. He’s going for tests and the process every day and we’ll only know tomorrow if he gets the green light from the medical people to practise or not. At the moment he has not practised. on Elneny… He trained yesterday with the team. on how Elneny is… He’s fully focused and as always, a fantastic player with a great mentality. He is disappointed that [Egypt] lost in the final but we had a quality session yesterday.
I'm not normally negative about Arsenal, but after hearing Ian Wright last night on Radio5 talking about how Wenger has the look of a man that knows the end is near, I'm not feeling good about today and the rest of the season. I know what a lot of you think of Wenger, for my part I have admired him for what he has done but even I know this has to be the last season. I only hope that his departure is done respectfully. He should sever all ties as to stay in any capacity would hamstring any new manager. He would be brilliant for the French national side. Anyway, enough on Wenger. Today the players have to respond. There are too many getting away with it. Where the **** was Ozil last week - or against any 'big' club for that matter. Sanchez manages to get 'marked' out of games too often and Mustafi and Kos are not the leaders we thought (hoped) they might be. IF they have any pride they should be saying to themselves "this is not over yet" and going out there today and proving that they are not bottlers. IF. Sadly I have my doubts. If I am pissed off with likes of Redknapp, Savage, Jenus, Sutton and other so-called pundits smugly saying "I told you so" about us, you would hope that the players would be too and respond. As, I say, I have my doubts, as many of you clearly do. I would happily eat my words tomorrow if they prove me wrong. Onward and upward. COYG
If it is the end for Wenger I would have expected him to go out on a bang. The funny/crazy thing about Arsene is that you cant deny the guy is man of his principles. You would've thought Wenger would have splashed some of that cash reserve this January in a bid to re-capture the title one more time. With our midfield problems bringing in an Isco/Rodriguez would have made a big impact. But unlike Mourinho, Wenger seems to truly believe that football isn't just about winning at the expense of everything else.
The thing about Ozil.. He's clearly World Class but when he plays for Germany he's surrounded by winners and tough characters. At Arsenal he's expected to be one of the big characters but he's just not that kind of guy. Talented as he is - the guy is just not a leader and he can go missing when the pressure mounts. If we had more characters like Alexis we would see a better Ozil.
I've just been told that the bouncer sitting next to Arsene Wenger is Boro Primorac, Arsenal's first-team coach, a former Yugoslavia defender and nightclub doorman. According to Wikipedia, he speaks nine different languages. According to me, he's fluent in pain.
And arsenal fans talk about dodgy decisions. No doubt Wenger didnt see the handball even if he watched a replay
Only the most bias dickhead would think that handball was deliberate. He couldn't do anything about it.
You know we have let ourselves when manure fans come to our board to post during a premier league in Feb. They are usually fighting everton/southampton for the last euopey league spot... We should have put some daylight between us and those f3kking clowns!
It's 100% legitimate. You keep hearing the phrase 'ball to hand' for good reason. Like I said Sanchez couldn't have done anything about it if he tried.
This is so sad for football. Wasn't that a red? Last man brings Marcovic down and only gets a yellow. That's not the rules is it?
