If the ball is going away from goal and the hand takes it in, it has to be given as handball .. No way would the goal been given other end
But we have still set the record at the Emirates for the number of away fans glued to their seats. Looks like they are doing the mannequin challenge.
Bollocks!! The ball was moving away from goal and he diverted into the net with an outstretched hand. Cheating ****!!
'Sanchez has been the delight of the game' Arsenal 1-0 Hull please log in to view this image David Pleat Former Spurs boss at Emirates Stadium for 5 live Sport "Arsenal's goal was fortunate - it came after a scramble despite the Gunners' best efforts to play their preferred tippy-tappy football. "Alexis Sanchez has been the delight of the game, twisting and turning and able to beat his man rather too easily. "Hull are lacking any kind of goal threat, but the be fair to them they are playing far better than they were a month or so ago." Now we are due an equaliser. We could quite easily have had a couple ourselves.
Good point by Durham on TS. If the defender had done the same on the line would it have been given as handball?
Ffs .. called it .. are we now playing basketball .. cheating barstewards .. and fancy asking Thierry what he thought .. ffs Mr handball himself
I think the point is the position of his hand is up high and he's gained an unfair advantage. We need 2 up front IMO, N'Diaye sitting quite deep.
Look at it again. The trajectory of the ball was up and away from the goal. He knew what he was doing.
The ball bounces off someone and hits his hand, which was outstretched because he was stretching for the ball with his foot, that is how we move our bodies, his arm was there before the ball. I can see why the goal stood, I could also understand if it had been disallowed, but for me there was no intent as he didn't really have time to react in real-time.
