    Just keep chanting this like a mantra: "We're much stronger than last season"..."We're much stronger than last season"

    Did people really think Jose wasnt going to leave? Cant understand the panic and reaction. Sick of the "we'll get relegated" ****e as well, change the record.

    But we didn't want to pay him the market value did we. And Liverpool wanted to lavish 35m on Mike. These two things combined meant a sale was inevitable. I think Carroll would have stayed if the club had fought to keep him. They were never going to do so with 35m on the table. He did the right thing for his career and we did the right thing to reduce the debt.

    I agree with the transfer for both sides I'm just saying if he was so desperate to stay there was nowt forcing him to leave, so when he inevitably trots out the "I was made to leave" ****e before the home game v Liverpool so we dont boo him, I wont believe a word of it.

    I think we actually told him to go, and he basically thought 'WTF? I'm one of your best players' and in a fit of rage/thinking the grass was greener (which it was) he left.
