Thing is, you only get recognized if the club your with wins something nowadays. It could be level with Messi and Ronaldo but if Messi wins the Champions League he will win it.

Ronaldo won it based on his Champions League and Euro victory even though he went off in the final for Portugal and didn't do a lot in the other final.

 

What about the time ribbery won 3 cups and Ronaldo won it just for being top scorer despite wining **** all.

 

How pivotal was Ribery to the trophies though?

 

Ribery was shagging school girls and Suarez was a bit of a vampire.

 

Suarez will never win it due to his reputation.

TBH Owen should've never won it.

 

That's a bit unfair. Owen was one of the world's best (if not the best) strikers when he won it.

 

The top three shows a poor show from a lot of players.

He should be awarded to players that have stood out and achieved beyond expectation. Everyone expects Messi and C.Ronaldo to be great

 

Ehh? No. This should not be the basis of giving someone a talent award.

It should be about absolute talent. Messi and Ronaldo are constant candidates and winners because they are the best 2 in the world. Others should not be given awards just for playing above our expectations- Milner anyone?

 

Messi and C.Ronaldo could both have **** years and still win it. How is that a good thing?

Klopp said today that he believes that we can win our 14 remaining games.

2 ways of taking it: 1) anything is possible in football. A long run of wins is as possible as a long non-winning one. Or less likely, 2) that we are likely to go on this run of wins as we recover from our dip.

Good to set team targets or objectives. But they have be realistic don't they? Maybe he just ****ing with the journos.

He has to instill confidence in our players who have been ****e lately, but we could also possibly go on a wining run.

Unlikely sadly as I see too many draws, but we have had a good run to end of season in past and why not now.

Give me more confidence in that top 4 run in,also we have had our blip same as utd. Chelsea,spurs,arsenal and city to a degree haven't.

 

You have not "had" your blip until you are 2 or 3 games out of it, you are still in it until then. We are in another "blip" at the moment not lost in 15 but only 1 win in last 4.
City have had a bit of a blip in December and Arsenal have been in one for the last few weeks.
