    I'm sure it was. All reports I've heard say Howe is one of the best blokes around, I've always liked him personally. The chairman on the other hand...

    Not that I know too much about him but everyone seems to rate the lad, great work Cortese/Nige!
    So we should expect a bit more transfer activity then with possibly a new CB and forward joining along with any loans (Italian wonderkid please Don Cortese!) and Puncheon/Mills leaving. Exciting times ahead.

    The guy on twitter who said ' last week - saints rock leicester boat . i will add more - maynard' has replied to someone asking ' did you think maynard would sign not fox? or is that something to keep an eye on? ' . He replies by saying ' keep an eye on!'

    Exciting time to be saint!!!

    Also, seeing as he likes to take a free kick or two we seem to be sorted in the dead ball situations now, I also think I saw The Knight scoring a few free kicks in the obligatory YouTube viewing session as soon as we signed him!!

    Eddie must be trying to work out Howe he has lost another one of his best players! I know Eddie Howe worked miracles on next to no transfer budget at Bournemouth but Burnley's chairman must be mad thinking that he can keep Burnely competitive having sold so many players already.
