No I read that Egg makes for a good Egg curry, I was just agreeing in my own way. But egg curry(boiled eggs) does make for a good Indian and I'll put a recipe up by the end of the day that I trust. On my kindle at the moment, I don't like the format on here.
I think you guys have performed well away from home but theres something about playing away against the big teams that have stopped you guys from really going onto dominate (1-1 v arse, 2-1 v chelsea, 1-0 v united, 2-2 against city). Plus with Rose and Verts out and the standard Pool turning up for a massive game i have this down as a 1-1.
Pool will be up for this one, they are desperate for a win and see us as one of their cup finals. Klanfield is a bogey ground for Spurs and I suspect we will go there lacking total belief, much like when we went to Old Toilet, United were there for the taking and we never really turned up in that game, there was a lack of belief and I can see a similar scenario at Klanfield. Gifted Penalty will soon be back from the Pool injury list and what better team to play when you are in desperate need of a result than Charity Hotspur. With all this in mind Pool 2 Spurs 0 sadly.
Our record there is very poor. We won there under Harry ... 2 nil I think but do not really remember winning there since the millenium. We've had a few draws including a couple of 2 alls if I recall but imo I expect a poor result for us especially as we will probably play a back 4. My team would be (if fit) Lloris Walker Toby Davies Dier Wanyama Dembele winks Eriksen Son Kane I would have actually gone for Janssen instead of Son but he was outstanding (apart from his finishing) last week so deserves to keep his place. But like I said...I don't expect to be watching motd sat night
How I see it as well. Liverpool are now on an awful run and in need of a good game to salvage their season, just as Man City was. We didn't play badly against City, but City played really well. Hard to see us doing better than that, considering we drew with Liverpool the last 37 times we played them. There's extremely little chance we'll have any surprises in the lineup, I think. A score draw seems likely. On the other hand, we need a win to preserve any chance of catching Chelsea. I think that win last week showed more belief than we've had in the past. Is there any way we can take two straight steps forward? COYS!
Watcha my old china's, A busy time in Suffolk with doing general maintenance on the holiday cottages. Had some help from Billericay Dickie and Dagenham Dave who l must say is a little bit of a nut job as he's one stop from Barking. They installed a power shower but all tiles has to come off the wall to link up with the original pipework . We had problem with capacity as the megaflow cylinder supplied only 125 litres . This only supplies the bath know and leaves the shower independent. So hopefully bobs your uncle. We will be up and running for valantines day so lovers don't forget her indoors . Keep her sweet and life is kosher .A walnut whip goes a long way , and a bit of Charlie Drake . I'm up for this . Liverpool will try and out press us but if we play to our strengths and go at them we should get a good result. Keep it up Sid ( busy)
A big fan of Pat Nevin and he's got some analysis on Eriksen which i think is a bit stating the obvious. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38922893 However i was shocked to find out some of the stats he reeled out. Eriksen has covered the most ground and the other 2 shockers was he was 6 ft (must be all those giants are spurs) and that he's ONLY 24!
24 and he's played 386 competitive games already. Some going. He's 6 ft, but I think Rose is our only regular starter that's shorter than him.
Google has been getting in on the football stats and stuff over the past few years. Always interesting what they choose to show Trippier, Winks, Davis, Lamela and N'Koudou are shorter than 6ft https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=tottenham hotspur players heights
I'm torn between a 352 and a 4231. I don't think Poch fully trusts Davies in the wing back role though, so I'd imagine we go with the latter. Son deserves to start - despite the criticisms that he is wasteful his shot conversion rate is actually the same as Kane's (1 goal per every 2 shots). The most wasteful player in our team (in terms of shots) has been Eriksen, with 5 goals from 32 shots. Him, Alli and Kane really need to turn up for this one. They've gone back to autopilot mode in the last few games. Hugo Walker Dier Toby Davies Wanyama Dembele Eriksen Alli Son Kane Your roll, @Dier Hard
