Merson's prediction for the game Saturday, let's hope the prat is as wrong about this as he was about Marco Silva. This is typical Arsenal. They will win 3-0, everything will be great again and Arsene Wenger will be the best manager in the world. The pressure is on, though, as if they lose this game I don't see how he can keep his job. It would be that toxic that I couldn't see him staying. Hull are doing very well but Arsenal tend to beat these teams. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image Arsenal vs Hull City February 11, 2017, 11:30am Live on please log in to view this image
A typical Arsenal would likely scrape an 89th minute winner against 'teams like Hull'. Merson is an absolute bellend.
I genuinely hope we beat them. Cockwombles like Merson will be choking on their own bile and will just prove what a twat he was over Marco's appointment too. Plus Arsenal Fans TV will be legendary.
I know the odds are long but if we pulled off a win or even a draw I will absolutely love trawling through all the Arsenal forums watching the inevitable meltdown of their deluded cockney fans.
Arsene Wenger cannot keep Arsenal job if Gunners lose to Hull City, claims Paul Merson... http://metro.co.uk/2017/02/10/arsen...ity-claims-paul-merson-6439195/#ixzz4YH9TxP7L The **** him.
I looked on one or two of the Arsenal forums yesterday and they were playing the clip where Merson complains about Marco Silva's appointment - fair play to them their thoughts on him were pretty much the same as ours.
Arsenals a funny club. I know we all get irritated by the Hull Reds and ER Whites etc. but Arsenal seem to enjoy a wide range of support from both Londoners of course, but up as far as Peterborough, at quite high numbers. Possibly linked to the fact it's so easy to get to the Emirates, and of course there's a lot of London "overspill" up to this area. All of the fans I know, and I know quite a few, also think Mersons a twat, and mostly cringe when I mention Arse Fans TV, although some take the right view imo, which is to laugh at them but be a little embarrassed.
every time I go down to see us at Arsenal there are a load of folk in their colours on the train from Cambridge. That said, there are a lot more Spurs supporters around here than Arsenal. And very few Cambridge Utd supporters in comparison or so it seems.
Same previously from Huntingdon, and also from Peterborough. Seems to be mostly Arsenal fans, with a smaller smattering of Chelsea and West Ham ones. I think its down to the fact a lot of families moved "north" from London, and settled around these parts. Fen Cockneys as I like to refer to them as. I know a few Posh fans although you're sadly right about Cambridge Utd fans.
One round my way. Always known as Cockney Mick though he comes from Norwich. His family of Chelsea fans moved there before he was born. Went all over the place when they were crap, saw the start of their success but doesn't go now as he doesn't like the way the club or football in general has gone.
No, No, he's right. Anyone who gets their job so badly wrong, like a pundit who reckons Liverpool would hammer us, should be sacked. Like, like, oh I don't know.... maybe that **** Merson perhaps?
